Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a great Tuesday so far!
Hey LegoMom - has the kitty been officially named yet?

That's why we have a computer for each member of the household. DH and I each have laptops. DD8 has our old PC and DD2 now uses her old PC (with all the same games she played as a kid.) When we upgrade, we just hand the old one down. My DD8 is really hoping I get a new laptop soon.Yes, she knows she's spoiled.
IT'S WEDNESDAY???
When did that happen? I've lost a day somewhere.![]()
GOOD MORNING YA'LL!!
It's back to regular life. I have to go grocery shopping today. And I have to go to the hospital to irritate my brother. (not really, he's the one that does the irritating.)
HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Morning all! I went in to work yesterday. Let me get your thoughts. I am currently working freelance for my old job. A full-time job opened up, but thanks to government cuts, it was cut. It will be replaced with a part-time (24 hour a week) job in September. My boss said it's mine if I want it. While I love my job, I also love staying home. I'm also very picky about child care. There aren't a lot of options that I would be happy with. I'm not worried about my oldest. My job is right by her new school and I could set my hours to go with her school hours. So here's where I'm torn. I love being home with my little one, but I don't think she gets enough stimulation. She watches way too much TV and we only do one or two activities out of the house a week. If she goes to preschool, she'd be with other kids and be active. But then I'd get less time with her.
Thoughts, opinions?
One of the hardest things I did was send my dd6 to preschool. But she did so much better there. I don't know--can you fit that work time into a couple of days per week and only send her to preschool a couple of days? Either way, you'll make the best decision for your family.![]()
I'm looking at working M-Th from 8:30-3. I could change the day off to fit my DD's school schedule but still have the daycare for the little one to cover my changing. There are not many part-time preschools around here. The one I really like is $600 a month. So I'd essentially have to make over $600 with this part-time job to make it worthwhile. Many of the preschools either require a 2-year old to be potty trained, are in not so great areas, or are run by churches. The church run facilities are not monitored by the state, so they don't have to follow the same strict guidelines (no spanking, classroom sizes, background checks etc.) Plus, I'm not religious. If I can make enough, I'm leaning towards taking the job. I'd be able to pay off our DVC a lot quicker.
Good morning ladies. Not much longer to go before your trip, LegoMom.![]()

LegoMom ~ has the kitteh been christened?
I am sorry to report that the kitteh remains nameless at this point in time....Trying to get 5 people to all agree is turning out to be quite an ordeal.
