My dear friend had 2 boys and she is very thankful. She said if she accidently has a 3rd, she wants another boy. I think I have scared her with my stories.

I bet! After you said that I recalled (horrified like) how terrible I was as a teenager to my mother! If she were still alive, I would have called her this morning and apologized yet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Afternoon everyone. I went grocery shopping today and I needed cooking oil. I always buy the large bottle of Crisco. It is usually $5.00-$6.00. Today it is almost $10.00 WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?

I hate to say it, but I'm wondering if this has anything to do with grain prices increasing due to the whole ethanol thing. Vegetable oil is often a mix of stuff like soybean, corn, etc.

None the less, that's just nuts....!

We don't eat alot of fried foods anymore. But every now and then I do like to have fried french fries and not baked tator tots. Or real fried chicken or pork chops. This is just plain sad.

That is true. Crazy though, isn't it? I heard that many things will go up due to the gas prices but that would be a bit extreme. I am supposed to be working. But it is raining and for some reason I would rather be here on the Dis.

Hey!

Yeah, I'm having some fun with the new placement of the smilies, too.... Funny how you just mix 'em up a bit and suddenly they are just so cool! Well that would explain my cat when we move furniture around...

Just got back from a trip to civilization. DS8 had a dentist appt. for some sealants. Then we stopped at Walmart for a few items. Somehow I came out of that store with each boy in possession of a new cap gun.... They are outside now playing sheriff/cowboy/outlaw!

And lest you all forever dump me into the "music geek" category, let it be known that my kids and I were rockin' out to the Beatles on the ride home!!
