I forgot to mention that all of the kids at Special Olympics had on Lime Green shirts. OMG, when I saw the shirts I could've died of laughter. It was great.

If I could get my family to wear lime green, I'd have our t-shirts made up in that color. But, males seem to be averse to bright colors for some reason... So, I'll stick with red and we'll do Incredibles again...and this time the first thing I do at the Studios is go to meet them near the Animation building!! (hopefully they're still there...if there's been a change I'll have to pick new characters! ).

I have a list a mile long of stuff I've never seen/done that are "musts" on this trip!

Morning! I have a lazy day planned today. I'm going out to lunch with a friend and our little ones. Then tonight we're watching your movie, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium as a family. Tomorrow I have a mommy day planned. I'm getting my nails, toes, and hair done (not all at the same time.) Then I have to get my DD8 all dolled up for dance recital pictures.

I love Vegas and can't wait to go back. I've only been once 5 years ago, but it was so much fun. I'd love to hear all about your plans. When we were planning, we watched every Vegas show we could on the Travel Channel, especially the one about what you can do for free there.

Guess what I got yesterday? The new iPhone!! Well, not a new one, a used 4gb one, but it's new to me! I am a total tech geek, so this thing is the coolest thing. It's a phone, ipod, photo album, camera, and mini-internet all rolled up into one. We lucked out and found someone selling their old one because they upgraded to the 8gb. DH is a little upset because he wanted one first, but I'm getting him a new one for his birthday. He thinks I'm getting him the 8gb, but I was able to make enough between Expo TV and selling my gold to get the 16gb. He travels for work and can put movies on it.

I sat in car line waiting to pick up my DD8 yesterday for an hour playing with the phone. I was able to jump online through AT&T's network, no internet connection required. When you get one, you synch it to your computer. We have 3, so I had to pick the one (my laptop) I thought we'd have longest. That means I can't download all my iTunes music that is on my PC. That is my only complaint. You can't synch it to more than one computer, even though you're allowed to have an iTunes account on more than one. But the music is cool, it either looks like an iPod, or you can turn it sideways and navigate through the album art. I plan to check it out more when I'm getting my nails done today.

Wow, slow weekend around here! I was outside most of the day yesterday; for a change they messed up the forecast in our favor! I was exppecting clouds and drizzle and mid-50s, and instead got sun and 70! I am getting reacquainted with my back deck...

I've also been posting over on the PassPorter forums, since I am using that book for my planning and just joined their "club" for access to more download-able planning sheets! It's been fun to get involved over there, too.

Did I tell you guys that we added Whispering Canyon Cafe for our 8th (well, 7th, really, since HDD takes up 2 credits) meal? Here is our finalized ADR schedule, in case anyone is interested...


9/9 - Whispering Canyon Cafe (dinner)
9/10 - Sci-Fi Dine In (lunch)
9/11 - Crystal Palace (breakfast)
9/12 - Hoop-de-Doo !!! (7:15 show, Cat. 2 seating!)
9/13 - Boma (dinner)
9/14 - Garden Grill (dinner)
9/15 - Chef Mickey's (dinner)

I also discovered yesterday that my DS8 somehow missed all the recent discussions of WDW and didn't realize we are going again this year!! Poor thing, but you should have seen his face when I told him! I told him we are doing an early b-fast at Crystal Palace and getting into the MK before it actually opens, and his eyes opened way up wide and he says "Coooollll!!!" Then he proceeded to ask if we could eat "at the place where the Monorail goes through" (Chef Mickey's) and I told him yes, we were eating there again but for dinner this time, so we get to use that way-cool dessert station!

Ok, I've rambled on here long enough....Just a little excited, I guess!!

We haven't been to Vegas in nearly three years. I can't wait to go back! Waiting on airfare to drop a bit. Fares are hovering around $300 pp.

Those sound like great plans. I love the atmosphere of WCC. We've had breakfast and lunch there, I preferred the breakfast. I can't wait to hear what you think of the dinner. What a great idea to end the trip with dinner at Chef Mickey's.

That's how we were able to change, we're already with AT&T so it was no big deal to add more time onto our current contract. Though with the added expense of $20 per phone, I have to cancel Netflix and the Disney Movie Club.

I've been checking in, but didn't feel like talking to myself. I never asked, who's your favorite on AI this year? I was very upset when Michael Johns got kicked off. But my favorite is David Cook. My DH figured out how to get his songs as ringtones for my iPhone. Now when people call, it will say "Hello, is it me you're looking for?" I'm off to dance in a few minutes. I'll be back later.

Just one more thing to look forward to when you move here to FLA. But by then, maybe prices will go down. I did realize that it's not $20 more a month, because they cut out my insurance and prior media package. So it's only $10 more. Not too bad.
