Thanks Legomom!!:goodvibes It was very scary!! I've got to get to cleaning. You can't even imagine the mess my house is in. :sad2:

Hey Master Gracy. I'm sorry to hear that you have been sick. I hope you are on the mend. Your art work sounds awesome.

I am on the mend, Ive perked up since yesterday.
I have to go look for old magazines now, because Its going to look like a 3d collage (if that makes any sense)

Hey ya'll!! Sorry for the absence once again. My father had a heart attack. He is recovering.   I'm not sure about the rest of us though!! :goodvibes But anyway, I'm somewhat back. I haven't read back yet to see what all ya'll have been up to. I just decided to jump in and say hello. SOOOOO, HELLOOOOOOO!!

I'm so sorry about your father I am glad to hear he's recovering though. And very glad to see you back. Hopefully your life will even out a bit and give you some more down time (aka Dis time).

hey guys, haven't had time to post in here in ages- study and art are kind of taking over:rolleyes:
I'm sick at the moment, so Im working on another art piece, which is a puppet of sleeping beauty, which is currently coming along great:thumbsup2

It's good to see you back too! I hope you make a full recovery. Please post pictures of your puppet. I'm sure it will look amazing.

I think we're supposed to be 74 today!!!!

.

Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for spring, but how is it 14 degrees warmer further NORTH than where I am?!

Sorry to hear about the development on the house. That's pretty obnoxious - "Here's a whole lot of money less than what you're asking and we would like you to move out on our terms." :sad2:

Maybe they are testing you and they'll become more realistic, and if not, well, like you said, you aren't desperate.

The BF and I love NH, particularly the Lakes region (who doesn't?). We've talked about moving up there, but from what I understand, the NH-Boston commute, while equal in mileage to what I do from Southeastern MA-Boston, takes MUCH longer time-wise.

To all of you I haven't said hello to yet and who are sick or tending to a sick loved one, lots of hugging Skittles to you!

I don't know but it's officially 70 degrees in the shade in my yard right now, and it's only noon time!! 74, here we come!

That's what I'm waiting on now, to see if they were just testing the waters, so to speak. Funny thing is, there is another home right here in our town that IS for sale right around what these people offered us, and it's slightly larger than ours and has 4+ acres to our one! The only thing (major) we have that the other house doesn't it an over-sized, heated garage (hello, that alone justifies the extra $25K!!!).

It does. Simply because SO many people live up here and commute south!

Well, I'm off to go do some yard work! :thumbsup2

Hello? Anyone out there? There's nothing on TV so I'm trying to find something to occupy myself. But talking to myself is not an option.

Good morning! It's Friday! It's going to be in the upper-70s here today!

:banana::banana:

Mean Queen, sorry you were flying solo here last night! I've been outside the last few days and then turning in early at night. Yesterday I raked part of the yard (and had some sore arms last night!...). Today I will do more. Then this afternoon I'll be sitting on my deck....! :lovestruc

I'll try to check in again later!!

Just as it's getting warm enough for you to go outside, it's getting too hot for us to spend too much time outside. We went out and let the kids play in the sprinklers for half an hour around 5 pm yesterday. Both my girls had tan lines from that short amount of time in the sun. Luckily, they have my skin and tan, not burn.

Tinkerbellarella, I hope you're having a good day in MA cuz it's 79 degrees up here in the woods (and my thermometer is in the shade!!)...!

I just opened up our camper and got good news and bad. The good news is, we didn't have much mouse activity and they didn't stick around. There are two small holes chewed in the bunk cushions (which are old and we put sheets on them anyway) and a few seed hulls, but no nests anywhere. The bad news is I have moisture coming in somewhere, and I don't know where it's originating from. I'm hoping it's from all the ice that sat on the roof all winter, that it just seeped in. This camper has always been water-tight and I don't want to start dealing with a leaky roof!

Mean Queen (and anyone else wondering!) - the official word: we are taking the house off the market! :thumbsup2 This IS a good thing, despite my clamor to move to Florida. The dream hasn't died, just put on hold until the housing market picks up a bit. I'm hoping for next spring. Meanwhile I'm breathing a huge sigh of relief, looking ahead to our summer and being able to make plans and not wonder "If we're still here..."

And Free Dining and Port Orleans for 8 nights will still happen!!!!

I'll be bummed again come fall and cold weather, but I do love NH in the summer.

I am!!! Took a walk at lunch and, while it's not quite that warm here, it's BOOTIFUL out! Looking forward to the ride home in the late day sun with the sunroof open!

Here Here! That's what we did yesterday. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! We even stopped for ice cream. :goodvibes

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm just relaxing right now. Been up since 4AM and had grocery shopping done by 8. Now I'm watching the movie "1408" which is so far pretty scary.

:scared1: I love John Cusak, but I won't be watching that movie. It looks too freaky.

I'm going to a friends weddind today. It's outdoors, so I'm hoping it'll be cool today. It's been creeping into the mid 80's over the last few days.

I love weddings. Have fun! :)

Hi everyone! :wave2: It's a glorious sunny 81 degrees here today! Getting more reacquainted with my deck every day.... Might even use the grill tonight!

I just booked flights for our trip to Disney!! We were really thinking we'd drive this time, but even though that was technically going to be cheaper, it was only around $200 cheaper. We decided we'd rather fly and be there in 3 hours. Southwest finally opened up booking beyond Aug. 22 yesterday, and is having a great sale this weekend. I grabbed the flights now rather than wait on a "maybe" Ding fare. Got good flights, non-stop both ways, and we'll get to take Magical Express again! Love that - I check my bags here in NH, and they "magically" show up in my room at POR!

So I'm having a great day! How's everyone else?!

That's exciting. What time will your plane land?

Good morning ya'll!!

Anyone care to come and help cut the grass? And clean up the dog poop? I guess we should clean up the dog poop before cutting the grass.
:thumbsup2

We'll get into Orlando around 2pm, which will give us a nice relaxing rest of the day. I'll be sure to pack swimsuits in our carry-on!

I'm so excited about your Disney trip!!:yay: :yay: :yay: Our kids are asking for Universal. I don't know what we are going to do. Universal is fun and its cheaper. BUT IT'S NOT DISNEY!! Know what I mean. And I hate scooping poop!! But, with 3 dogs it is a way of life. Our grass is not only green it is growing like a weed. I don't know what kind of fertilizer hubby used but the grass needs to be cut twice a week. Maybe it's all that poop.:confused3

I'm so excited about your Disney trip!!:yay: :yay: :yay: .........

Thank you! We're doing Free Dining again!!   And we not only managed to get an ADR for the Hoop-de-Doo Revue, BUT our TA got us an 8am ADR at Crystal Palace, so we get to be in the park before it opens!!

Ok, that's enough dancing bananas for one post....!
