I hope you get to drink your wine. BTDT with a corkscrew and it's no fun. Matter of fact, I have some Boordy Merlot sitting here and I can't tell you where my corkscrew is either.

I did! Took me fully 10 minutes of messing with the dumb thing, but I got it.

I played with the smiley site a little earlier and that does seem to work for some of the smilies and stuff, but others like the Blues Brothers it doesn't. What happens is that I can right-click and copy, but when I go to paste, the "paste" option is light and unclickable, if that makes sense.

Next time that happens, try using "Ctrl-V" on your keyboard. That should be a universal short-cut for "paste." On my keyboard, hitting Ctrl with "x" will cut, "c" will copy, and "v" will paste. Worth a shot!

About 10 pm. And she woke up at 8 a.m.. She usually sleeps later when she goes to bed later. I hope that means we get a good nap today.

Low 50's and rain here. My sons baseball game was cancelled so I am sitting here thinking of all the stuff I should be doing. However, I don't feel like doing any of it. Puppies are getting a little wild being stuck in the house. Something is sure to get knocked over and/or broken.

Wow, sorry it's so yucky there! We have low 70s and muggy. It's threatening rain but everytime I check the radar, it's breaking up before getting here (the Green Mts. of VT usually do that!). I do see lots of green and yellow on the map well north of here, though. In a way it's too bad because we could use some rain at this point.

I, too, am looking at all the stuff I should be doing around the house...

The mere fact that I'm here typing means I'm not doing it!

We really need the rain too. Of course I would prefer it on a weekday, but at least the ground won't be so dry. It's still only 55 and not expected to get any warmer. My house smells like wet dog. Oh well, they are worth it.

Someday summer weather will arrive, but this is Maine so the wait may be long. Either a long wait or may only get a summer day here and there. I just keep reminding myself that the warmth will get here.

55 WOW!! It's going to be right at 90 here today.

It's in the 90's here. I'm hoping for rain anytime soon to cool things off and help our lawn. There's a great food festival going on this weekend I would love to go to, but it's just too darn hot.
