Tagless Dis'ers / Formerly Tagless Dis'ers UNITE! - Part II

Hey everyone! Real life got in the way of my DIS life but I'm back. We have our best friends down from South Carolina [we met them about 13 years when we lived in the same neighborhood, and then they moved] staying with us and checking out a house 15 minutes away they might move into! Yay!

My MIL and I took DD and her friend to P&PP last Friday. It was so much fun, and only a little less rain then the Halloween party!

My MIL and I took DD and her friend to P&PP last Friday. It was so much fun, and only a little less rain then the Halloween party!

The rain down here has been a bit earlier than usual. We're having new grass put in next week to take advantage of it and avoid a huge water bill.

Glad to hear your friends may be moving near you. We keep wanting to move back to the Orlando area. I really like the homes and schools there more than here.

Not too much going on here today. I didn't work, either, so I got my grocery shopping done and got the goodies for the kids for Sunday! I haven't been doing much this afternoon. My DH is off for three days (!) and he's going out for pizza shortly. I usually make it on Fridays but just didn't feel like it tonight!!

Weather is cold and very windy. Stuff is melting slowly but we should be about 10 degrees warmer than this (in the mid-upper 40s, at least).

Tomorrow I will be doing some house cleaning for Sunday's dinner (in-laws are coming up) and then on Wednesday next week we are scheduled to have a broker open house here.

Are you up to anything special tonight?

Not too much except watching the Hoosiers in the first round of the NCAA. DH is a big fan. We're having pizza too.

Our pizza was really good! We got a large cheese and a large pepperoni for the 4 boys (our 3 plus one friend!) and DH and I split a green pepper and mushroom calzone.... Yum - O!!

Now DH is watching the Beatles' "Yellow Submarine" with our boys (friend has gone home). No matter how many times I watch that movie it remains THE quintessential weird film of the century.... DH, however, thinks it's the funniest thing ever. DS11 is getting most of the jokes and it's a riot to watch him watch the movie!

I just want to get into my PJs and curl up with a book!

We ordered Outback takeout tonight. We're doing pizza for DD's birthday party tomorrow. I hate trying to figure out how many pizza's to order. You always end up with WAY too much or WAY too little. I like your idea of getting into pj's and curling up in bed. But since I have no book I'm reading, it'll either be with the Dis or my Nintendo DS.

Well, then I guess I'll be in for a lot of green pepper talk in a little over a week. We're going for Spring Break for 4 whole days. That's a long trip for us.

Hey ya'll.

The weather here is crazy!! Last night we had thunder/lightening then snow. Woke up to about a 1/2 inch but now it's gone. Current condition is beautifully sunny and 36 degrees.

I've been poking around on the DIS this afternoon and I'm coming back in here where it's safe! There are some mighty heated discussions going on over on the Dining Plan sub-forum re: Free Dining.... Is it or isn't it going to be offered, will it or won't it be able to be applied to an exisiting ressie .... I find it very humorous that even though there has been NO official press release from Disney, there are always posters here who are "in the know" because they just got off the phone with Susie Helpershoes (my apologies to Zzub or any of his fans...!) who said she heard from another co-worker's aunt's 2nd cousin's mailman..... Gimme a break! I'm almost breaking a sweat from the sheer exhaustion of trying to read these debates....


All I know is that I have a trip booked, no dining plan currently on it, and a wonderful TA waiting to apply Free Dining if and when it does indeed become available.

But if I write that over there, I'll be pummeled with rotten fruit, right through my screen....

What's everyone else up to today?!

I didn't realize the trip planning board was as tense as the CB is. I've been staying away from many threads because there's just too much flaming going on lately. We all have opinions, that doesn't make it fact.

I've been fighting a sickness lately and it just got worse today. I think all the activity of this weekend got to be too much. We had breakfast with my dad then lunch an hour away with DH's mom. We were supposed to come back and go to the beach with friends, but I was feeling too bad.

I've been wondering how the movie was. It was in and out of the theater so quick, I thought it must be bad. Plus, I think they tried to many tie-ins with toys. It turned me off from it.
