Tagless Dis'ers / Formerly Tagless Dis'ers UNITE! - Part II

Yeah, I tuned in for the final, too! I can't say I was completely surprised. As great a guy as Jason was, the one gal (cousin?...friend?) made the comment that if she chose him, her life would instantly fast-forward 5 years, and as far as "where you are in your life", she seemed more in-tune with Jesse. I like Jesse so I was happy!

.

I do hope they have a happy life. The wedding next May should be a big event. I'm sure all of the publicity is going to hipe Jesse's career.

Have fun today. I'll be back on later. I realllllllly have to get moving. :grouphug:

I really should be getting busy. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now. This "reunion" has mushroomed on me. But I guess "get togethers" have a way of doing that. My Brother is having most of his large intestines removed. He's in for a long recovery. (We are all getting nervous for him) ]

You will be very busy. My father and one of my brothers both had much of their intestines removed too. Each had a col. bag for awhile and both had it reversed successfully. My brothers surgery was an emergency. My fathers was planned. Actually, my cousin who was only about 30 at the time had it too. Full recovery and she recently had another baby. Good luck to him.

Hey all! Back from a 5-day weekend mini-vacation from work...and the DIS. It's so funny, whenever I have time off I think, "Wow, I'll have so much time to DIS and keep current and yadayadaya."

Not. So. Much.

LOL

GOOD MORNING YA'LL

I'm not going to be here very often for the next week. We are having a family reunion at our home on saturday. I will be spending the rest of this week getting ready for it. Then next monday my brother is having major surgery.

You will be missed. Good luck to you and your brother.

I'm usually too busy on vacation to Dis. Though that doesn't stop me from trying. ;)

You call 5 days a mini vacation? That's a grand one for me. :rotfl:
The important thing is that you are back!! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Isn't that the truth. You go on vactaion and when you come home you feel like you need a vacation to get over the vacation. :confused3

I wish I could say that I was doing something crazy-fun, like vacationing in Disney!

But alas, most of my time was spent cleaning, doing laundry, being lazy, going to cookouts, fireworks and a demolition derby and catching up on the DVR.

I have to admit something a mite, er, shameful here:

The BF and I were addicted, totally and unabashedly ADDICTED I tell you, to the first season of VH-1's "Rock of Love" with Bret Michaels. It was terrible and trashy and really just a train wreck you can't turn your head away from. Total mindless entertainment. So, when we found out there would be a "Rock of Love 2" we set ourselves a season recording and waited almost as anxiously as we're waiting for Heroes (but let's not get crazy here, I said almost - "Rock of Love" is no "Heroes"). So, we started watching it and then I got SO LIVID with a couple of the girls at the beginning, I actually couldn't stand to watch it. So I didn't. And the episodes just sat in the DVR.

And sat.

And twiddled.

And sat.

Until this weekend when we finally watched them all, including the clip show and the reunion.

And I had no idea how much I missed all that crazy. AND, to boot, VH-1's new show "I Love Money" with a bunch of the people from their "love" reality shows ("Rock of Love 1 & 2", all the "Flavor of Love"s and all the "I Love New York"s) just started.

My trashy reality TV is complete. Oh, and there's a little bit of "America's Best Dance Crew" (MTV) in there just to mix it up.

I find it amusing that I can't stomach "American Idol", "So You Think You Can Dance" or any of the "Bachelor/Bachelorette" shows but I LOVE to watch the trashiness of these VH-1 shows.

Maybe it's gratifying and boosts my self-esteem to watch some of the "contestants" trying to rub two brain cells together.

Or maybe it's just that train wreck theory after all.

I don't think they have two brain cells. But then again since you can start a fire by rubbing two together........:lmao:

I think it's the train wreck you like watching.:upsidedow

I think you're totally right.

BF gets TWO shows out of the whole she-bang, though. He gets whatever we're watching and then he gets to watch ME get all up in arms about the blatant air-head-ed-ness.

Are you back?......

I'm back now!!!!

Did you miss me?!!:rotfl:

.

What a long day. . .I had an IEP meeting this morning where to accomodate the parent, we went to her house for the meeting, we set up summer services for him at the meeting which promptly fell through this afternoon (the teacher can't come), I found out I only had 4 more days to work this summer (exciting) to only have my bubble burst an hour ago when I agreed to do the summer services for the kid (at least it's extra Disney $$), and the one little boy I work with in the afternoons bit me.

I'n cracking open the bottle tonight for a tiny sip. (or 12)

Then your BF probably has more fun watching you than the show!! :thumbsup2

Tinkerbellarella: My daughter loves Rock of Love. She said I would too if I sat down and watched it. I only saw bits and pieces. Now as for I Love New York, she makes me sick. My daughter liked to watch that one too though.
