I just stopped in to say Hello...It has been too many days since my last hello. Hope all is well here!:wave2:

How are you? I'm so glad you are back. :goodvibes I was getting concerned. ::yes::

Never fear...Moms is here....:thumbsup2

I have been so busy with this and that and I had a reading spree and read like 5 books and now I am back. It is very surprising how much the Dis boards have increased my reading speed. I think we could bottle it.

Bottling the Dis could be dangerous. ::yes:: :rotfl:

Yippeee!!!!

I'm watching The Ghost Hunters, Dising and doing my Ninetendo DS Lite.

The job is going ok. I finally got to start working on straightening the files. It drove me nuts to see it so messy. I am still filing alot, alphabetizing, and opening mail. I don't even know how to get voicemails, though everyone knows that if I don't pick up to call back in a few minutes. I don't even have a computer sign on even though I don't need it.

Good early morning.....!

I didn't sleep well at all last night so I finally gave up around 5:00am and just got up. I started the coffee and took some Excedrin, and now here I am. Oh well.

PaMom your job sounds like fun! I love office type work (as long as I don't have to answer the phone/deal with the public!).

So while I was waiting for the coffee to brew, I was thinking about this pre-trip report that I want to start, and decided that if I do indeed do a
"pre-", it won't be until a couple of weeks before we go. I just can't start one now and expect to carry it over the summer! Besides I thought of a title and it has the word "was" in it, so how do you write about something in the past-tense when it hasn't even happened yet!

Well y'all, that's it. Have a great day! I have to work so I won't be around until later....

.

PaMom, thanks for the woohoo!! And I'm happy for you and the new job!! :cool1:

LegoMom, I'm sorry you didn't sleep well last night. I hope you get a chance to rest today. ::yes:: I don't have any advice on how to plug the past tense into the future. :rotfl: But I'm sure Mean Queen or Tink will have some. ::yes::

Good morning. Today is my kids last day of school. As I started typing, my daughter got out of bed and she needs the computer to finish a paper due at 9:30am.

I'm going to finish priming my brother's bathroom. All I have left to do is rolling. My brother told me he had primer in his shed. Unfortunately it's oil based which makes me sick. I had a terrible headache yesterday, dizzy and sick to my stomach. I will be glad when the rolling is over. I just want to get the walls 1 color before his housewarming on Sat.

Wow, instead of a house warming for him...that party should be for you!! I hope today is a better day for you. And woohoo on it being your kids last day of school!!

I think you're right! There aren't too many siblings who would be so nice to help out like that.

I took DD8 to see "The Lion King" last night. It was amazing. We had great seats. I told my friend who got the tickets to buy the first row behind the most expensive seats, so we could laugh at the people who paid more just to sit in front of us. We were fourth row on the side. Because of the way the cast enters, they took out one of our seats. We got to move our girls one row in front of us. The parade of characters in the opening came right where we were, and we saw why they took out the seat. The elephant puppet was huge, it almost got the back of my head. If you ever get a chance to see this show, go. My only complaint of the night was dinner before hand. The girls were so hyped up they couldn't behave at a nice restaurant. I had to threaten my DD with taking my friend to see David Cook instead of her if she showed me she couldn't behave at something nice.

I had to do something! They were being very loud and obnoxious, climbing under the table, having to go to the bathroom repeatedly. Then the discussion turned to who's turn it was to P.I.P. Poop in Public. So to quiet her up, I brought out the big threat. No David Cook.

P.I.P :scared1: :rotfl2: Not on your life. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Hmmmm, party for me, that's a foreign thought. I always seem to be the one helping out and doing for other people, not the other way around. :lmao: With the exception of my wonderful best friend who lives too far away in TN. She is wonderful to me.

I guess I better head down and do that bathroom. I'm dreading it b/c I already have a terrible sinus headache. Even my nose, upper mouth and teeth are throbbing. There isn't anything else I can do. I've done the neti pot, Nasacort, decongestant and I just took ibuprofen. I would cut off my nose if I thought it would help. STUPID sinuses. I will try another cup of coffee when I get back. Sometimes the caffeine helps.

Mean Queen, The Lion King sounds fantastic. Glad you had the opportunity to see it.

P.I.P :scared1: :rotfl2: Not on your life. :rotfl2: :lmao:

I will just say two out of three made the challenge. I think it was because we would let the kids be a bit crazier in the bathroom if it was empty. I should write that down so when they are all teens and the thought of P.I.P. horrifies them, I can use it against them. ::yes::
