Geez Smileybug you must have been very randomly busy over there last night...we got your 5000th post and you're already up another 54!! It's a bit too random and too busy over there for me. Can't keep up (trying to keep up with Tink's Lapuettes is enough!!)

So I have another day off from work today! But this one is because the owner scheduled it that way. I don't really have any plans but I know DH has to make some phone calls to try to get this well issue resolved (we're getting this very fine sand/silt in our water, and it's wiping out a filter every other day).

Well I need to get the kiddos up and ready for school (can't wait for them to be done....!). I'll check in in a bit!

We overslept today. Not good, not good. But everyone is out the door now.

Wow, I hope you get the well problems fixed quickly. We have a pump now. DD and I do not like the water so I buy lots of bottled water. (We both drink alot) Hubby and the boys seem to like the water though.

I'm going to be on and off today. I have the usual cleaning to do today. I Have to stay on top of things or I get overwhelmed really fast. ::yes::

At some point today I need to run a scan on my computer. It is slowing down really bad. I need to try to find out what is going on. ::yes::

I think this little guy ::yes:: is my favorite. He agrees with everything I say!! :rotfl2:

sushi.jpg

I tried sushi for the first time a couple of weeks back.
::sigh::
I really, really wanted to like it. But I just didn't. It was a consistency thang. And way too much food in my mouth all at once.
I'm happy to say it wasn't a taste thing.
I tried a Philadelphia roll and a Spider Shrimp roll.
Oh, and for whatever reason, I really, REALLY wanted them to be warm, not cold.
Oh well, at least I tried.

trying to keep up with Tink's Lapuettes is enough!!

I started that thread and sometimes I can't even keep up!

GOOD MORNING YA'LL

Good morning, good morning to you and you and you and you! (Sorry, the MK opening ceremony music is stuck in my head.)

At least you have tried sushi. ::yes:: My mouth refuses to wrap my lips around the stuff. ::yes::

Just popping back in to see how you all are. I hope everyone is having a good day!! :goodvibes I'm off to vaccum now. :goodvibes

I love sushi! Though I don't eat the crazy stuff, like octopus. I usually eat the cooked stuff, like a california roll, mexican roll, or tampa roll. Though tuna and yellowfish can be really good.

I'm taking my DD8 to see "The Lion King" play tonight. It's her first trip to the theater. We're going with her BFF's, who's moms happen to be my BFF's. I'm really looking forward to it.

Until then, I'm relaxing at home with the little one. Well, she's relaxing, I'm trying to finish up my scripts. But I'll be done soon and I too will relax. ::yes::

Mad at myself because I didn't book airfare a month ago when it was $100 cheaper. I just paid $325 each from Indianapolis. Ouch!!!

Ouch indeed!

We still need to book our return flight for our September trip. We're flying from Tampa to Providence and the cheapest is $141 each for a 6 a.m. flight with Southwest. We were hoping to stay later in the day than that. :(

Ugh. I miss the days when I could do that trip (or and Orlando trip) for $49-$69!!!

Good luck getting the time you want. I hope the price doesn't shoot up on you. I don't know what I was thinking but I just figured prices would come down closer to the date rather than go up. But with oil and gas prices the way they are I should have known better. Looking on the bright side ... at least we are fortunate enough to afford a vacation even if it means paying more than what we are used to. ;)

Is it cheaper to fly from Tampa than Orlando? Or are you spending some time in my neck of the woods?

So true! We are doing all we can to pay for our Thanksgiving cruise. Luckily, we booked before the prices went up because of gas.

Hey ya'll. Well as usual I miss DeterminedOne. HI DeterminedOne!! I'm glad you have your flights booked. I personally think prices are going higher and flights are going to be harded to get. But I also think that as long as we all dig our heels in we will all be fine. :goodvibes

So very, very true. I'm very thankful to be able to take this trip.

At the end of our trip we're visiting my friend Missy's sister and family for a couple of days. They live in Tampa. And actually, I checked both Tampa AND Orlando in terms of pricing to fly home and for what we're looking for, Tampa was cheaper.

What we're likely going to end up doing, though, instead of flying into Providence is to fly into Hartford where Missy's other sister lives. Then we'll get a ride home from there.

Or...wait and see. Which I don't want to do. Because I think it'll be more like wait and pay more.

Hi Smiley!

Hi Tink!

Hi Mean Queen!

Nice to see you!

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

WHY,WHY, WHY. You were here when I wasn't. Lets go back to talking about your trip. ::yes:: I've never been to Vegas. I'm looking forward to hearing about it first hand from you. I think hubby and I are ready for a grown up vacation. :rotfl2:
