She takes those things for her dad. She takes them for the nurse at school. She gags & vomits when she takes them for me. The only thing she ever took for me they don't make anymore. Tylenol made it. It was a liquid that you could put a "flavor packet" in it and it changed the taste of it.

Weird. How about the new strips they have? Don't know the age range for those but they're ultra-thin and melt almost instantly. I didn't learn to swallow a pill until I was 14 and got bronchitis. I had no choice, so I started by hiding them in a spoonfull of ice cream and as time went on, I just used less and less ice cream until I could just down them with a glass of milk (HATE using water...they always get stuck!!)

Hope she's feeling better soon so you get a break!!

**Warning:** I am about to chat yet again about my trip-planning for next year!! If this is bothersome or otherwise offensive to you, please stop reading = here =.

--------------------------

:rotfl2:

Have been looking at options for our trip and pricing out possible scenarios.... I'm now thinking of opting for the Quick Service Dining Plan.

I know, I know!...there are some of us here [whoshallremainnamelessamanda] who can't fathom a trip that does not involve multiple ADRs... BUT!...when I've looked over what you get with that, I think it just may fit our needs better. It's not that I don't love a chance to do some nice sit-down restaurants, but especially now that the gratuity isn't included, I'm not as eager to jump all over that (I still have the receipts from last year's trip...those tips add up!!).

The QS plan will give us two counter-service meals per day, TWO snacks per day (that's huge with three growing boys who eat constantly!), PLUS the resort refillable mug. Again, that's a big perk for us. DH and I get coffee every morning and the boys always want soda, so that's a pretty good savings overall.

I guess if Free Dining comes out for our dates I'd have to think about that choice, but otherwise it's looking like the QS plan for us.

I think the QS plan is a great option. It's a more relaxed go-with-the-flow vacation to me. You don't have to be at a particular place at a certain time. Eat when you want, where you want and you don't have to all eat at the same time if you don't want. That would be great for my family with older kids. If we decided to seperate, everyone could eat when and where we wanted. I found in Disney we only ate 2 meals a day anyway.

The more I think about it, the more the QS plan makes the most sense for us. We have often had the "we're not all hungry right now" scenario, and on top of that, if everyone doesn't want the same thing, you're free to choose elsewhere.

But really, I'm all about the free refillable mug!:goodvibes

How on earth did I end up in the mix? :rotfl2:

Actually, I have toyed with the idea of the QSDP and I think it is a great option. The only reason why I did not go with it for this trip, is I had already paid enough to Disney to have the DxDP before the family decided not to go and I felt like it would help me slow down. So there--(where is the tongue sticking out smilie).

I've always wondered if the dining plan would save us money. I need to crunch some numbers

We stayed onsite at POFQ on our 1st trip and loved the refillable mug. Having the fridge in the room was great.

That depends on how/what you eat. We did all counter service and my daughter and I shared some meals. We also brought snacks with us. I need to carry something on me anyway b/c when my blood sugar starts to get low, I feel sick and must eat right away. She was so sick that she didn't eat much so sharing was not a problem. Not the way you want to save on food. Even if we are both healthy, if the sandwich/meal is a decent size, we can share it. Therefore, buying a dining plan would be too costly for our budget.

Hey, creativeamanda! I need to get you mixed up in this again!:rotfl:

No, seriously, I need help coming up with a name or a theme for my trip. Last year it was The Incredibles, and my TR was called "That Was Totally Wicked!!". I'm finding it hard to top that one.....

Toss me some ideas, woman! You're good at that!

Anyone else is welcome to chime in here, too!:flower3:
