...my middle DS just graduated from Bergen Community College a few weeks ago (he got his Associates in Applied Sciences -

) and is continuing his education at William Paterson University...I've been putting off filling in his acceptance papers, since I don't know where the money will come for his tuition....

Good afternoon pee-puls!..... How has everyone's Monday been? Nice and sunshiny here! It was my last quiet day... I took advantage of that and did a lot of reading. Now I'm browning hamburger for tacos for dinner...

Oh, and our pool finally re-opened! It's been closed for a couple of weeks for repairs. Guess where I'll be spending much of my summer...

My day has actually been pretty good. Got quite a bit accomplished.

Ummmm, tacos sound good. We are grilling tonight.

Oh my word I am already browner than I've ever been in my life!! And that's just from "living" here.....I rarely just lay out.

As of today I started trying toget rid of an ugly farmers tan.

I have some chicken that needed to be cooked or frozen. We are just having that and a salad. Simple, simple, simple. I cut each chicken breast into about 3 strips. Some went into a bag with a sesame ginger marinade and some in a bag with a northern italian dressing with parmesean (?) cheese.

I do envy ya'll living so close to the beach. We are only about 33 miles or so away from one. But with traffic it takes forever to get there.

Last year I discovered a recipe in one of my cook books for a dry rub for steaks.....Now I can't grill steaks without it! I'd love to learn to do more with marinades; they add so much flavor!

Hello everyone! I'm back from my trip. I came home to an acceptance letter from Ringling college of art and design so it looks like I am heading to Florida to try and become a Disney artist!

Thanks! It's my first time working with plants and i'm a little nervous. I talked with the specialist at home depot though so I think they'll be okay. I hope they live! Working with the earth is actually very rewarding
