Disney’s Happiest Haunts: The Villains’ Trail Guided Tour - Halloween 2025 Tour.

I just stopped by the Tour boothand asked the CM there where the fireworks viewing wss...she said at the hub BEHIND the Partners statue. That could be dicey from my mind, there's trees on each side and you are dodging the statue. If you gotvthe perfect spot, might be ok but didn't sway me enough to drop the $$$$$.

Crowds weren't bad from 11-2, getting more crowded as I left. Napping now, will be back for Fantasmic tonight.

Behind meaning behind Walt's back?
Yep, that is what the CM at the tour kiosk said. I kinda asked twice and she reiterated "behind the Partners statue" so I guess you would just stand in that semi- circle around it, you know, where you usually pose for pics for Photopass.
Not worth$100 for me....

PhotoPass is in front of Walt, not behind him.

The red area is where PhotoPass photographers are located. The teal area is were reserved seating is usually set up. I would consider the teal area to be behind the statue. I don't think anyone stands in the inner circle around the statue - it is used for cross traffic.

They did seating behind the Walt statue in the red zone years ago when they did the Dr. Facilier Halloween meal when the Halloween party was still in Disneyland. I got stuck pretty far back and it was a complete nightmare. "Limited view" does not even begin to cover it.

I guess they used both teal and red because the meal was sold out that night. But the red zone saw like three rockets.

Funny. I saw those fireworks from the teal side & it was my favorite fireworks show ever. I didn’t realize that some people got stuck on the other side of the statue for that experience.

I certainly hope they abandoned the red seating area meanwhile. I wasn't the only one marching to City Hall to complain. But that wording is way to ambiguous for my liking.

I am not surprised you liked the teal area, that was what I was expecting when the whole thing was announced and I would have been very happy with it. I even was happy with the Plaza Dining Package where others have complained about obstructed view. But stuck behind the Statue at 5 foot 5 is no fun.

We are planning on doing the tour next month. Do we need parkhopper tickets since the tour is in both parks?

You shouldn’t- when I did the 70th tour we went in a side gate to DCA & back to Disneyland. You will need to make sure you have a ticket for Disneyland park as that is where the tour starts and ends
