Don't freak out, my dear! Think of how soon you'll be in your happy place. What gets done, gets done, and what doesn't...well...doesn't. :thumbsup2

I'm the same way actually. I like to do at least a light clean of the house before we leave. Nothing like coming home to a clean house.

Me, too!

I can and can't wait at the same time for the trip report. I want to write it, but dont want the trip to over. Maybe I could take up residence at SSR or OKW. I love a clean house to come home to. DH will get home from his trip the night before, so maybe it will be doubly clean. Or maybe not. . .

Morning', everyone! Happy Wednesday!

:yay:
One more work day!

Too good not to share this morning......

I love it!

I'm at work doing purchase orders for next year. Who would have thought spending $10,000 would be so tiring?!? I have to a requisition, get the department head to sign it. Each requisition has to have a picture and description of what is being ordered attached. Then, when she signs it, it comes back to me with a purchase order number. I then have to put the same information on a purchase order form and send it back to the original signer, who then forwards it to the director of finance for approval. I've been at work for 3 hours. I have one purchase order done and ready to be faxed. I have 4 more to do. It's going to be a long day.

Some how, I'm sounding less like and educator and more like an accountant.

Oh, give me a room in the Grand Flo to call my own and I'd be a very happy camper. :thumbsup2

I know how you feel, but when I did that, it actually was my job. (In a former life LOL) I used to be a museum store manager, so I was in charge of all the purchasing, etc. It can be fun and tedious.

Good morning. I have been very busy working on this house. I am wearing myself out. Yesterday I had to go back to daycare at 2pm, got home after 5pm, made supper then started putting my kitchen back together. I was so tired that I stopped at 8:15pm. At least it was not 9pm like the other night.

TarzansKat, preschool for your son sounds like it would be great for the both of you. I know all about family dysfunction and being made to feel guilty or like you are an inconvenience when your mother does something for you. :grouphug:

Oh my gosh, you are going to wear yourself out! I hope you're drinking your orange juice and getting lots of vitamins!!! :goodvibes

I thought I had a lot to do yesterday...well, actually, it was a lot, but normal household stuff. I felt like I really didn't stop from the moment I got home. But that's life. One day at a time.

Thank you, hon. We're going to look at the school today, so I'll let you all know what I think. If it's a go, my biggest decision will be whether or not to put him in two or three days a week.

Three would cover all my work days, two would still give him one day at my parents. They want the one day, I'm not sure. I'm just not sure, and I don't really care at this point about me, I want whatever transition is going to be easier for him. He's been so used to having them this whole time. I know he'll most likely LOVE this school, but I'm just worried throwing him into three days may be too much. I guess I could always go up from two to three.

Huh, I wonder if my husband will rememeber that today is our anniversary. :rotfl:

My daughter graduates in 3 days!!! :scared1: Tomorrow night is Senior Class Night where they give out all the scholarships to make graduation MUCH shorter.

TarzansKat, thanks for the reminder about my vitamins. I have been forgetting to take them. I was feeling completely worn out last night, but I did get a decent nights sleep. So much to do and not enough time. I am exhausting myself.

Good luck deciding 2 or 3 days. :)

Wow, kimmar, aren't we just all sparkly and glittery today?!....:wizard: Cool graphics!

Thanks. I like the rainbow letters.

It doesn't seem real that she can be graduating in 3 days. Is this for real?

Good morning all!

Hi, hon!

Huh, I wonder if my husband will rememeber that today is our anniversary. :rotfl:

Happy Anniversary! Ours is in a couple of weeks. :thumbsup2

Oh, for pete's sake. Did I write Wednesday? I wasn't just typing the dark, I was typing without a CALENDAR!!! :rotfl2:

Thanks for the sparkly graphic to bring me in the here and now.

Well, DS and I went to check out the school I was telling you all about, and my goodness does that child have no separation anxiety.

None.

What. So. Ever.

Within minutes of arriving, he was talking to different kids outside, playing on the playscapes, just having a great time being a kid.

It gave the director and I chance to have a little tour and talk some more and I really, really loved the place. I can't even go into how great I think this will be for him, it's amazing. Amazing. I'm very excited.

I've decided to start with two days for now. We can always increase to three for the school year, but I think for the summer, two is good to start. My parents will still have him one day a week, and this will be an easier transition for him (and me) I think. I know that he will love it there, but I worry about how he'll do with full days. He'll be there Thursday from 830-330 while I work, and then Friday from 830-500 or 530. Again, I know he'll really love it, but it is going to be long days, so I thought, let's start with two and take it from there.

We go back for orientation on Tuesday and he'll be officially starting the week after Father's Day.

And I've told the folks. So we'll let that sink in as well.

Thanks for all your kind words everyone. I know I don't get into stuff this personal a lot, and I do appreciate the listening and help. :goodvibes

I'm hoping for the best for that decision, TK!

Happy anniversary, SadieDog!

And in 11 days, I'll be on my way to Disney!
