I need your opinion on something. We are only going to be at Disney 3 full days. (Hubby can't be away from the business for long.) So, we were going to do 3 parks. MK, Epcot and HS. On the day we are going to HS it is open until 11:00pm. Would ya'll split that day with AK? I was thinking we would start with rope drop at AK and then go to HS. Now remember it is just the two of us. Would ya'll do it? :confused3

This is similar to what I was going to do on my solo trip (again, no kids, just like you two). At first I wasn't going to AK at all, but then I thought I'd hop over first thing one day, putz around a bit, and then head elsewhere (ok, true confession time: really all I wanted was to be able to sit at Flame Tree BBQ for a while and listen to the BGM!!). Anywho...! If you want to see some stuff at AK, or you can't see yourself doing that long of a day at DS, then that's a plan. If you really don't care to see AK this time around, you could always just take a resort break on the DS day.

Yes, I would. :thumbsup2

Good day all.

Yes! December is my favorite time to go to AK because it's the hottest darn park around. Plus, I love the characters all dressed up in holiday wear at Camp Minnie Mickey. Though I might stop by DHS first to get a fast pass for Toy Story Mania. You do not want to miss that ride. And even without kids, 75 - 90 minutes is a long wait (in the best line cue ever.)

Happy Halloween!

Smileybug, I would definately do AK but that's just because it's my favorite park!

Have fun tonight everyone!

Legomom--he is beautiful. Definitely worth missing Disney for.

I hope so!.....reading all about your trip and Smileybug's trip lately has me wanting to go again! I'm really hoping now we can swing the camping trip next Thanksgiving.

Oooh! Oooh! Bring Theoden on your camping trip to the Fort. He sure beats all those golf carts. :rotfl:

Halloween was totally exhausting. Cleaned all day, had the party, went trick or treating, came back and had a bit more party before retiring to my bed with a laptop. I may post a pic of my costume. It's on my Facebook page, but I'm being too lazy to put it in my bucket.

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

Thanks for the opinions and the tip Mean Queen. (Didn't think about that.)

LegoMom.....He is beautiful.

:hyper: ::yes::

Guess what I did? I made an executive decision and added a day to our Disney trip.:laughing: :woohoo:And Hubby is actually fine with it. So now we do not have to split days between parks.:banana::banana:

....aw-w-w-w-w....:lovestruc

Who knew Kimmar had the awwww :lovestruc feelings in her. . .of course, I totally agree about the horse.

Gotta love those executive decisions. :thumbsup2

Okay, ladies--perhaps you can help me. I have tossing back and forth the idea of actually doing a food review for my upcoming trip, especially since it is solo, but I want to be discreet (using the P&S camera instead of the DSLR, for instance with no flash). But I don't know that the work is really worth the trouble. Then again, it will give me lots to do before I start my PTR for October. . .I just don't know--perhaps I should take the camera and if the mood strikes me while I'm there, do it.

Of course, I simply can't decide on reservations. I need to stop looking at food porn, and the online reservation system is kind of like my crack right now. . .:rolleyes1

I have 1 reservation I don't know if I should try (Tokyo Dining) and 1 that I think might be too much food (Liberty Tree).
