Smiley and amanda, y'all are getting the rain that came through here this weekend! And boy did it rain.... I now understand why they put crushed limestone down over the clay road bed. When that clay gets wet, it'll either slide you all over the road or grab your tires and suck you in! Since our driveway is 1/4 mile of the stuff, we try not to go out when it's raining.

Hi See, I spent the morning out running errands in the rain. I really don't like driving in rain. But things are done. And believe it or not I came home and put on my flannel PJs.

The HW is going, just taking a while! And it doesn't help that i'm doing a few other things at the same time

Legomom--we have sand, so the rain completely washes out our road. I have what I refer to as ponds in my driveway.

They are all done. I just couldn't believe how cool and nasty it was. At noon we were still at 59.

Our driveway is for the most part rock. So we don't have any problems now. But we did before we put the rock in. But then again our drive is only about the lenght of an acre. So we don't have as much to deal with as ya'll.

See, I hope everything goes well with your next semesters classes.

I quit Hallmark this past weekend. They had me working only weekends this month. I had put in for about one day off a week for each week this month. DD will be trying out for a play in a couple of weeks and they give everyone a spot, even if it is only in the choir.

Let us know what your daughter gets for the play! I did that in high school and was always in the choir (too shy to try out for a part!) but I loved all the practices and being part of that group of kids.

Hmm...I would beg to differ over the "comfort food" issue.... I mean, it's not like you can eat PJs.

Horse = four-legged kind. I already have a Mule, why would I need another four wheels?
