Tag Fairies

I AM CURIOUS WHAT IS THE TAG FAIRY EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT?
AND HOW DO THEY WORK. FORGIVE ME BUT I AM A NEWBIE.

Mysteriously, usually after an especially interesting comment, one is graced by the Tag Fairies.

See under my name to the left? The text in green? The Tag Fairy put that there.

Nobody knows who she/he is, or where they come from.

All we know is they like candy (especially mickey bars and godiva chocolate), clapping, and they are now accepting cash.

So if you want a tag, you have to fill a post with a request, followed by your "offerings".

P.S. I don't think they like "CAPS LOCK", as it is considered shouting.

okay - I have more questions on this - where do you post -- is it on any thread? Do they come up with the cute comment - or do you say what you want it to be -- and I have learned from others NEVER to offend the tag fairy! I am quite curious as I think it is absolutly adorable! and yes-sir-e-bob Simba is quite the looker-- If I was a lioness -- he would be the one for me! -- well honestly - I am desperate - so anyone would be the one for me!

I am gonna give it a go -- and here is a bit of JM Barrie to start you off beautiful tag fairy --

Many clapped.

Some didn't.

A few beasts hissed.

The clapping stopped suddenly; as if countless mothers had rushed to their nurseries to see what on earth was happening; but already Tink was saved. First her voice grew strong, then she popped out of bed, then she was flashing through the room more merry and impudent than ever. She never thought of thanking those who believed, but she would have like to get at the ones who had hissed.

I am clapping for you tag fairy CLAP, CLAP,CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP!! I believe in fairies! My best friend is one!

I am also prepared to offer my very own specially made cheesecake -- it is quite good and goes well with the Godiva chocolates I have for you under my pillow! If that is not enough - I have a piggy bank stuffed with $20's - please - take it - it is yours!

by the way - if you didnt catch it in my last post -- Simba is handsome -- more than handsome -
he is a hottie...

Tag faries are **magical**. They show up just when you are least expecting them!! Day, night, weekends, holidays, they never "rest"......... Then, when you are having a really bad day, you begin to post & see the **magical** color right next to **your** name!

I just posted a reply and noticed I have a new tag added, yippee! It was indeed a quote from me in a post about these boards. I saw it a few minutes ago and started screaming "I got tagged, I got tagged!!"....and of course DH said...."Hon, are you on the DIZ boards again?". So, it is quite an appropriate tag for me on many occasions.
