What magazine do you consider Tabloid?

Well I do think there is "some" truth to it, I really do because if it was all fodder they would be getting sued left and right. Which has happened in the past with certain celebrities who did sue certain magazines.

I do think that the Enquirer is the worst out of them all.

Us Weekly is usually pretty on it as is OK Magazine. Star and the others they all have the same pictures and stories.

Entertainment Weekly I enjoy and believe.

I don't even read them. I believe they might be 10% truthful, but about nothing I really care about.

I make it a point not to read tabloids. Never have. Still, I do enjoy PEOPLE magazine if it's at the hairdressers. It isn't any more though, she's replaced gossipy-type with business magazines.

You mean "the paper"? As my nana calls it. She lives to read that trash and then tell everyone what she read in the paper.

Honestly, I would love to say that they are full of it, but I think they are generally spot on. Well, 95% of the time at least. If not, they would be sued more times than what they are. You only hear about a handful of celebrities who actually sue because of the "lies" in the tabloids. Others get mad and say they don't pay attention to that filth. Well, if its not true, fight them and sue.

We subscribe to US, I don't consier it a tabloid nor to I think People is a tabloid. Ant the enguierer has broken some really big storeis. OJ Simpson, John Edwards etc

I have an acquaintance that is a Private Investigator and when he stumbles on celebrity dirt in his line of work he sells it to the Enquirer (he says they pay the best.) He works around Miami so he runs into people there. FWIW he swears his stuff is true!

I lean towards believing them. You can't be sued for damages if what you print is true.

I very briefly worked for a PR agency that handled some C-list celebrities and even then the PR machine was always working whatever image (true or false) the person was selling. I only lasted about 9 months.
