Tablet for 10 year old

Dd wants a meep but I am thinking it is geared towards a younger age. She has a iPod touch and he uses my ipad. Is a meep something she would like?

My sister bought my soon to be 10 yr old, a Nabi 2 for Christmas. I think it's for up to 12. Hope that helps.

We're getting each of our kids nexus 7. Ages 9, 5, &5. There's just so much you can do with a tablet. I'd bypass the meep.

We are going with the Samsung Galaxy for our DD11. I think the one you are looking at is geared toward the younger ages.

For a 10 year old i would go with something like an iPad mini or nexxus 7. DD just turned 11 and we're getting her the iPad mini since I'm already accustomed to using Apple products. Don't like the big price difference though.

I would not buy any "kid" tablets for a 10 year old. They may be less expensive than an iPad or Kindle Fire, but they are just too limited for anyone except a very young child.

Thanks everyone. I think I will wait til next year but I will not be buying a kid one. I am going to keep viggling and try to earn best buy gift cards.
