I have read about the tables in Wonderland and know that it is available to annual pass holders. WE are new DVC members and I plan on getting the annual pass. I was thinking about getting tables in Wonderland but, can't find how much it costs anywhere on the websites.

Does anyone know how much it costs? Do you feel that it is worth it? My boys are 4 and 6 and I am not a huge eater.

Thanks for your input

I'ts $75 for AP holders. It gets you 20% off of many table services locations and a few counter service locations.

You'll have to spend $375 in dining to get your money back on the initial purchase of the card.

Thanks for the info!!

Is it good for a whole year too?
We are going this summer and then in Feb. so it may save us some $$ for meals if we can use it for both trips.

If you purchase it when you arrive, it will be good for about 13 months.

Great!!! That will even fit in w/our next planned summer trip for Aug 2012. I may do it b/c I think it will benefit us in the long run:).

Thank you!!!

It definitely pays for itself. Alcohol is also uncluded in the 20% off. You can also just use for drinks in Disney Resort hotels if you like to just sit and relax at the bar. :drinking1

Do keep in mind that there's an 18 percent tip automatically included when you use TiW. I still think it's a great deal for us and for anybody who pays OOP and enjoys TS dining. If your preferences run to the signature restaurants, it works out even better.

I LOOOOVE my TIW card!

If you spend more than $375 at participating restaurants in a year, then it saves you money.

Here's a list of places that accept it: http://allears.net/din/tiwlist.htm
Keep in mind that very few CS locations take TIW. It's mostly just for TS restaurants.

There is an 18% gratuity charge automatically added to your TS bills. So I basically look at my savings as not having to tip.

So, an example:
Check is $100
20% off is less $20, bringing total to $80
They add 18% tip to the pre-discounted amount of $100, so $18...total of $98.
Tax on the discounted amount: 6.5% on $80 = $5.20
So a total bill of $103.30
Without the TIW card, and tipping the same 18%, you pay $124.50
Total Savings of $21.20

Another perk I love is the FREE valet parking at resorts. You still need to tip, but I look at it as $5 for valet parking that is normally $12 ($18 with a $5 tip!).

You just have to present your restaurant receipt showing the discount and sometimes your card when picking your vehicle up.

You also get around 13 months of discounts for the card. It's good for 13 months plus until the end of whatever that 13th month is.
So for example:
I last got a TIW card on 12/11/10. It is good through 1/31/12. :thumbsup2

What a great break down.....

I love our TiW card also. and you can use for the entire party sitting at the table, but it all ends up on one check..

The drinks alone pay for ours....

Thank you so much for breaking it down for me!!! We are still getting used to this DVC stuff and figuring out the best bang for our buck. I am definitely thinking of getting the annual pass b/c we are going this July for 10 days and then Feb 2012 for 7 days. The annual pass was going to save us about $800 between both trips (if I did my number crunching right). Then if I throw the Tables in Wonderland card in and buy it in July we can use it til August 2012. I was also trying to plan a DVC trip for then too so we would be able to get additional savings for 3 trips. That sounds like it would be a great deal :cool1:
