Tables in Wonderland only applies to lunch at EPCOT?

I am getting an AP in July when we go to WDW and am looking into the TIW card. I see conflicting reports of which restaurants are included and how much the discount is. I have a few dinner reservations at EPCOT and a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's. When I first did my research I saw all the restaurants I was planning to eat at on the discount lists displayed on several Disney info sites. I just read some info on the Disney site and it says something different. It gives a general statement saying that there is a 20% discount at participating restaurants, which is what I've heard from most people, but when I read down in the fine print I see that EPCOT restaurants are only discounted 10% and only at lunch Mon - Fri and it does not include Chef Mickey's. Am I reading this correctly? Are there no discounts during dinner in any EPCOT restaurants and is Chef Mickey's not included at all? :confused3

If I recall correctly, the Disney site talks about the Tables in Wonderland Discount AND the annual pass discount in a very unclear way. There has been confusion in the past. I know for certain we have used it for breakfast at Chef Mickey's AND I know we have used it for dinners at EPCOT. I do not believe we have done so in 2011 so it is possible that it has changed but I think it is an issue with the wording on the Disney site.

The disney site has awful, horrid, rotten formatting for that page. Gives the wrong impression because they don't use the right indentation/capitalization, basically.

Basically the page is about the Passholder program overall, and specifically the "Dining Benefits and Discounts".

One benefit is the "Tables in Wonderland Membership Discount", and there's a paragraph about that.

Another benefit is "Downtown Disney Dining Discounts".

And *then* they start listing the "Theme Park Dining Discounts", starting with Epcot, but by then you have scrolled down so far you can't see that it's the same indentation as each Passholder benefit, so you think it's part of TIW.

It's not. It's just a Passholder benefit, along with the benefit of being able to buy TIW.

Go with this page instead.

If you are referring to this page Dining Benefits and Discounts Only the first paragraph pertains to Tables in Wonderland.

Tables in Wonderland Membership Discount

Walt Disney World Passholders receive $25 off the regular price of the Tables in Wonderland Membership. Benefits include a 20% discount (excludes applicable tax and gratuity) on all food and beverages at participating Resort hotel and Theme Park restaurants and member-only invitations to special Food and Wine events, winemaker dinners, and celebrity chef dinners, plus much more. For more information or to purchase the membership call 407-566-5858. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call. Membership benefits are valid for the Passholder and up to nine (9) Guests. Offer is valid for Passholder only. Certain restrictions may apply.

The rest of the page deals with Passholder only (no TIW) discounts.

The TIW card is good for 20% of at all participating theme park and resort locations. Even restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin and Downtown Disney. It doesn't matter what time of day but it must be a participating restaurant.

Thanks everyone! I see how to read it now. That really is a confusing page, especially for someone who is new to TIW or APs. It looks like everywhere I'm headed will be covered. :yay:
