Tables in Wonderland & Food & Wine Special Events

We are looking to go to the Food and Wine Festival in 2011. We have a Tables In Wonderland Pass right now but it will expire and we will need to renew it next year. My question is: Is there any special events during the Food and Wine Festival that you can use your Tables In Wonderland discount for? We are wanting to book First Bites Opening Reception, Sweet Sundays, Party for the Senses, etc. I want to make sure there will be a benefit of getting our Tables in Wonderland card renewed so I am hoping to get some answers from some fellow disers.

No discounts at all are accepted for the Food & Wine Festival special events. The only exception I know of is that sometimes cast members are offered discounts on admission to the Party for the Senses.

I wouldn't look for a First Bites reception next year. Indications were that it was a special offering for the 15th anniversary of the festival, and was neither well attended nor well reviewed.

Interesting...

We have been to the Food and Wine festival before but have not been able to participate in the special events because of our teenage daughter. This year it will be just hubby and I am really want to enjoy the special events. When will the listing of the food and wine special events come out for 2011?
