Tables in Wonderland card-picture ID needed?

When I went to buy a TiW card a few weeks ago, the CM at one Guest Services outside the MK refused to sell one to me without a picture ID, and I didn't have my driver's liscence so I didn't get one. However, I then tried at City Hall, and the CM there sold me one with no problem (I didn't mention the previous refusal 1/2 hour before). So who's right? Have most people here had to show a picture ID or no?

I had to show picture ID at the MK guest services when purchasing the card , and have also had to show ID when using the card at two different restaurants, I think Trails End and Pop Food Court.

Yes, to buy one. Have also had to show my annual pass.

On occasion, I have been asked for ID when using it at restaurants.

All I had to show was my AP at DTD guest services when I got my TIW card back in October. So far, I have not had to show a photo ID at any of the restaurants.

We just picked one up last week at Guest Services in Epcot. I had to show my AP and my photo ID.

Just have to add this is the first time we've had AP's and the TIW card. We used the TIW card for a few meals during our "no kids", short trip last week. Even just using it for the two of us, it has almost paid for itself already! I can't wait to use it for our big family trip (9 people) in April.

We have used this card many many many times over the last 2 years and just once at Chefs de France did they ask for my license....but usually my room key and TIW card with matching names is good enough
