Can you use the TIW discount on alcohol at participating restaurants? I'm considering upgrading to an AP and getting this. I know you have to spend $300 (I think) to break even.

Yes you can! It even works in places like Victoria Falls and other lounges.

Ooh this changes alot! So say someone wanted to "drink around the world" at Epcot, I could only use the TIW card at sit down restaurants, not stands or CS places that sell alcohol right? Do the sit down restaurants even have bars you can just go up to?

You can use the card at Rose & Crown Pub--other than that for drinking around the World--you will be buying drinks at kiosks. We love our Disney Dining Experience card--I am not going to call it TIW. . .

I should also add that you can use the card in the resort lounges as well. Most of the resorts have lounges separate from the eateries. It is also good at the Tune In Lounge at DHS (50's PTC). We've also used ours for drinks at ESPN as well as other sit down venues on property.

Yes, it certainly covers alcohol at any of the participating eateries - and in just one meal @ V&A's, it pays for itself...
