I have requested a table for just my boyfriend and I for dinner. This was able to be done for our last cruise. What are the chances it will happen on a sold out spring break cruise (second seating)?

When I get on the ship can I go to the dining changes place (forget where that is on the fantasy) to see if this request has been accommodated? Or do I just have to wait till showing up to dinner the first night?

I would follow up at dining changes when you board. If the cruise is completely sold out, it may not be feasible. All you can do is wait and see.

We've never had a problem getting a table for 2 (late seating) even on full cruises. We've made the request with DCL ahead of time. We understood it was just a "request" but it's always worked out. Just lucky I guess. pixiedust:

I would think it would be easier during that cruise, we are on it also, because it will be a lot of large family groups that won't have table room for additional people. Our table already has 8 at the table.

We have requested a table for our family only on the last 4 trips. I ALWAYS go to the area they have set up for dining changes just to verify we received the request. We have always been accommodated. I think the chances are good. I believe our last on the Magic was at capacity. We saw several tables of only 2 people.

Correct--always verify after boarding and if your request was not met, ask if it can be at that time. It usually happens.

They have a lot harder time looking at your face and telling you that they can't do something than they have moving a random name/reservation number to a random computer slot.
