I have a PS for PSB on 10/14 for 5 people. When I made the PS, the CM said that we will be at 2 tables - one table of 3 and one table of 2. The 5 people were: me (mommy), DH, DD5, DS2 and Dsis. My sister only wanted to come to see DD's reaction to the princesses, and may not even be seated next to us (not to mention that DS will have to sit with her b/c DH and I both aren't willing to miss out on DD's reaction.

Long story short....I have decided to have DS skip the breakfast & hit the parks with my mom. This decision now makes us a party of 4, that will fit at one table.

Are all of the tables at PSB 4 seaters? If so, I may be freeing up a table when I call to change our PS to 4 people.

Sorry I'm rambling.....Can you tell I'm ready to go???

Thanks for any info!

The info given by the CMs that make PSs is not always accurate of what will happen at the restaurant.

We have been told numerous times, by CM, that we would require two tables for a party of 7. This includes a 2yr old in a high chair. Upon arrival at the restaurant we are always seated at a 6 top with highchair on the end.

At Sci-Fi we were told that we would need two tables, yet again, we got seated all in a 6-seat car.

I think there are "rules" for making a PS, and the CMs do not know how the seating charts at each restaurant are, so they stick to the rules(or policy). At the restaurant they will do everything to accomodate you - which would include moving two tables together if at all possible.

We were a party of 5 adults in May, and we sat at a big round table.

Maybe the CM didnt have any slots for that size party that day? And wanted y'all to get in so she could put you at 2 other tables? OR she was just warning you that you might get split?

All in all, I wouldn't make anyone skip it just incase... I think you'll be okay once you get there. There were LOTS of big parties when we were there, with tables smushed together. Don't sweat it =0

This sounds right. We had tried to make a ressie for 6 for Sept. (ended up cancelling anyway a'la Ivan) but they couldn't do it, so she got us two tables; one for four and one for two. We didn't know if we'd be near each other but at least we'd all be in. We had joked we would let the 3 grandparents sit with DD and DH and I would have a romantic breakfast for two LOL.

So likely, they didn't have a 6 top available for your time slot and wanted to still get everyone into the restaurant.

When I was there last week (9/12) we had a party of 6 and were all seated at the same table for the PSB. Right next to us there had to have been 10 or more people seated at a group of tables that were pushed together to get everyone in around the same place. I was told the same thing when we booked CRT (have to have 2 table, 1 with 4 people )and another with 2 people) however, we made sure to get there early (we had a 8:10 PS and got there as soon as we could get through the gate) and we all were seated at the same table with out any problems. Hope this helps.

If you do, please let me know you are cancelling so we can call at the same time! I have 3 DD's that are dying to eat there ( the 13th or 14th of Oct is what we need). I have called every day for a cancellation but so far no luck. My DH will look around EPCOT and ride TT while we eat.
