I'm just over 150 days out from my trip to Disney from Sept 29th-Oct 3rd. I'm going for my birthday and have been trying to get a reservation at BOG during MNSSHP. I do plan on buying a ticket and attending the party but have seen mixed posts on if BOG is even open after 7 because of the party. Does anyone know if it is even possible to do?

Yes, BOG is open on party nights. BOG usually closes off reservations for non-party-goers after about 6:15pm on party nights. After that time, a party ticket is necessary to dine there. They will open night dining reservation times once the party nights are announced.

We ate at BOG on a party night that we were attending. It wasn't my favorite TS but meeting Beast and dancing with him made it all worth while. :goodvibes but we ate right around the time the party started because I didn't want to miss anything haha.

I personally wouldn't book a TS for dinner when doing a party that night. I always did an earlier CS meal. I used the TS meal for a late breakfast and slept in that day (or tried to). I learned the first year that with kids just do nothing that day. The one TS for breakfast is enough. Relax at the resort and enjoy a free day because you will want to enjoy as much of the party as possible.

We are going to do MNSSHP in August and I didn't schedule a TS meal. I want to have the freedom to eat whenever and not waste time as it will be our last full day. It's such a great event I wouldn't want to spend a hour or hour and a half of it eating dinner. Can you do BOG another day?

I don't think they've posted dinner hours on party nights that will be available for those who are planning to attend the party yet. Currently the dinner time ends at 6:15 which was the cut off for reservations that did not require party tickets last year. Later they added times 6:20 - 10:00PM with the note that reservations during this time would require party tickets.

I am in the camp of "eat before the party so you're not using party time to dine at a TS restaurant when there is never enough time to do the many party exclusive activities." :)

We are having a late (ish) lunch at the Wave on our party day. 1:40, then we will go back to Polynesian and relax until we go to the party. :)
