Hi all,

I will be arriving on Nov 7,2016 after 5 pm. Is their any table service restaurants that anyone can suggest that are outside the parks? I am staying at the Pop Century.

Ohana is good. Cape may cafe. There's always Disney springs for dinner (raglan road, trex) 1900 park fare, chef mickeys,

We always go to DTD the first night. We loved the Boathouse. Puck express is great too, as is Raglan Road. Plus, you can go to Ghiradelli's after!

All the best sit down restaurants are in the resorts. Citricos, California Grill, The Wave, Artist Point, Jiko, so many

We did Hoop De Do Revue on our arrival night one year & it was an awesome way to start the trip!

Arriving after 5 and going to another resort means either a really late dinner, or risking not making the ADR.

That late I'll usually eat at the resort or head to disney springs without an adr. I might try to get table service with a walk in but usually i'll just do one of the quick services or "food trucks" There is a lot of options at DS and if any travel delays happens, no stress trying to make it to an adr.

Given your late arrival, if you are flying, I would not make an ADR in advance. If your flight is late, or you are delayed getting to your resort, you would be late for your ADR and lose the no show penalty.

Much safer to just check restaurant availability once you get to MCO, or your resort.

We were at narcoosees tonight at 7:45 sooooooo good! Smoothies are on dining plan now (mango, raspberry, strawberry)

The lobster Was phenomenal, Worth the 2 credits. Our server a fun Guy!

For a late arrival I would probably eat at teh resort, but you could go to FDisney Springs. Make an ADR at a estaurant that accepts Open Table so that you are not subject to the no show penalty that booking through Disney incurs. You never know what may impact a timely arrival.

I agree with the others. That is a late arrival on travel day. By the time you get to your resort it is going to be even later. I never make an ADR that close to arrival time. You could, for no fault of your own, be delayed and miss it. Then you would be charged the $10/person no show fee. I would just eat at your food court or head to DS for something quick Good Luck

Great point - Bongos and House of Blues for sure are Open Table - anyone know of others?

Boma has been our arrival night meal for the past few years. Any of the three AKL restaurants really would be our choice. There is so much to do and see there from the cultural demonstrations to the savannas to just enjoying the lobbies.

Raglan Road can be booked via OpenTable. Also, one can call T-Rex and Rainforest directly and make reservations (outside of the Disney ADR system).

You are also assuming your flight is on time and no delays.

My personal policy is nothing non-refundable on arrival day. My last year's trip to FL - my flight was cancelled and i arrived 6 hours past orig planned time

YMMV

I would just eat at my resort.

Or QS at Disney Springs, if I wanted to get out. At a mod or deluxe, I'd probably stick to property because I'd have a lounge and a QS. At Pop, I'd probably still plan on going to DS, but not make any commitments like an ADR.

...I like lounges. And pool bars.

Several of the restaurants at Disney Springs take reservations through open table, so they can be canceled without penalty. Those that I know of are: Raglan Road, Morimoto Asia, House of Blues, Bongos, etc... Also, Wolfgang Puck Express is not exactly table service, but very close with real dishes and silverware and delicious food.
