Table Service at MGM...

Could anyone please recommend a good 1 credit table service establishment at MGM? We are staying at BCV next month and want to have dinner at MGM, but nothing jumps out at me. We ate at Sci-Fi last year and thought the food was just so-so. I am tempted to just eat at Spoodles or Big River and just take the boat back to MGM afterward, but I would rather just stay and eat at MGM.
Any suggestions?

We did the fantasmic package at Hollywood and vine. It's Buffet. I thought it was good but not as good as some other buffets.

We really like 50's Prime Time Cafe and we're trying Mama Melrose for the first time this trip.

We keep heading back to 50's PT. The food there has been consistently good and we've had good service each time. Their fried chicken is awesome.

Another vote for 50s Prime Time! We are trying some new restaurants for this upcoming trip, but every trip we seem to go back to 50s!

50s PT is a ton of fun and has good "comfort" food. I think people who go here really need to be outgoing though and immerse themselves in the act or they're not going to have fun.

Mama Melrose is consistently good, too.

We did not care for the 50s Pt, didnt care for the menu options and didnt think the food was all that good. Our server was great though.

I would suggest Mama Melrose or Brown Derby.

I'm with you on the 50's PT!! I 2nd the Brown Derby, though I'm not sure if it's 1 credit or not. If it is, I wouldn't think twice, that's where I'd be going.

Another vote for Mama Melrose! We enjoyed it there so much! The flat breads are amazing, and the atmosphere is nice. Two thumbs up from the Cornelii.

Another vote for Mama Melrose!! We love it.

We also love Spoodles so try to eat there if you have a chance and I would avoid Big River Grill, we've had 3 bad experiences with food there!! And we aren't the only ones!

Wasn't impressed with 50's PT. My shrimp was frozen solid and our server made my 11 year old cry . Loved the Brown Derby. It was only 1 credit on the DDP.

We love Mama Melrose. My DD13 had a chocolate cake that she called "Oh My God Good" chocolate cake! Service was good, atmosphere was nice and food was excellent.

If you want to have a little fun and like Fried Chicken, 50's PT.

If you like traditional buffets and don't mind a more hectic atmosphere, H&V.

If you want a little quieter, but still casual, sit down experience with pretty good Italianesque food, Mama Melrose.

I liked the 50s PT on my last trip but I did not like Hollywood and Vine. Out of all our dining experiences my bf and I both agreed that the food was par or a little less than par and it was our least favorite of all the places we went.

The 50's Primetime Cafe is a must-dine for me on every trip!! Have always had great food and service there!

We have only been to 50's and MM and of the two I would suggest Mama Melrose. Very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. My son had a steak and it was as good as the steak we had at Le Cellier.

I would rather rather drink canal water than eat at the Prime Time Cafe. I cannot take the schtick and the food is average. I would definately go to Spoodles. Mama Melrose is OK and Sci-Fi has average food, but it has a great setting.
