Table for 12 on TLC

Does anyone else out there really like this show?

I used to watch Jon and Kate but I lost the have to watch feeling for that show. Now I just watched Table for Twelve and really like this family! I think it is a great family!

Anyone else?

I won't watch their show like I won't watch Jon and Kate. I think they are using their children for monetary reasons and I just don't agree with it. That's my opinion and I know there are many who enjoy the shows, but I am not one.

I didn't find it as interesting as JK8. Maybe its the same reason that people have to stop and look at a car accident I just thought it was boring and I don't like their accent

I watched last night and found it somewhat interesting, but the thing that really stood out to me was that the husband bought his wife a spa certificate and she is not the spa type...didn't want a facial, didn't want anyone massaging her neck, touching her feet, etc. She ended up using her birthday present for her 10 year old daughter to have all that stuff done.

It just didn't seem very thoughtful to give her something she wouldn't want.

It was kind of funny when he got pulled over for speeding on the way home.

So would I watch it again? Well, I don't think I would search it out, but if it was on, I might stop to watch - which is the same way I've dealt with John & Kate.

I liked it, but I thought I would like it more than I did. Maybe I'll like it more in the future when I get to know the kids' personalities more...

I also liked that part! I also thought it was kind of funny when they got pulled over! I think it was nice even though she did not use the spa gift card for her totally I think it was a nice gift anyways. She said she does not like that kind of stuff but the family was trying to do something nice for her that she would not do for herself! I thought it was nice she got to spend time with her older daughter! I also liked that they went out and they were like my family. Their children were not always well behaved although they tried, just like mine! I just think it is something different than the normal shows out there.

How about when one of the 4yr olds had to get naked to go potty.. one of mine did this til last year.. it was horrible. We wouldn't let her go to the bathroom alone because of it!

I know I thought it was so funny! But when the mom walked in the little boy said mom I did a B.M.! My husband said what did he just say! Just so funny!

I liked the show,
it's nice to see the husband and wife smile and laugh with each other.

When they got pulled over for speeding, one of the kids asked from the back seat, "why didn't you get a ticket"?
And the dad said, "it is police descretion".

I agree. Dad was doing his best to be thoughtful and to get Mom out of the house long enough to do the cake baking. He was also incredibly patient with letting the little kids participate.

They seemed to actually enjoy being together and appreciate each other. They seemed to take everything in stride. No major meltdowns or drama, just normal, imperfect family life. I found it kind of refreshing.

Try to check it out. I thought it was good. They took Becka to a program that let her have equine therapy! I interned at a equine therapy center so it was cool to watch. They are amazing!! They made her feel very special I thought! They also had a Christmas episode. That was good too!

I really liked the show tonight. I found it MUCH better than last week! I was so excited about the show last week, but ended up pretty bored while watching it...this week I liked the whole thing. I think they're great parents.

I agree! I think they are very good parents! I got misty eyed when they were talking about what they would like to have Becka accomplish. The mom was like I would just like to hear her some day say I Love you. Then she started to cry. They love their children so much you can see it! This week was really good!
