I asked our TA to make a special request for our family to dine alone if at possible (due to my youngest's special needs). Would there be a place I could see this request in our disney account or no?

No. They do not show it because it could easily be construed as a guarantee if it was recorded that you could see.

When you get your first navigator before boarding in the terminal there will be information about dining changes. Go to whatever restaurant is listed at that time and they can check to see if your request was taken care of. If not they will see if they can change things around to accommodate you. I would arrive a little early to the time listed as there may others waiting as well.

I concur with ktb2002. This is exactly what I do and also the place to go to add Palo/Remy reservations.

Do you think that she would not make the request on your behalf for any reason?
You could ask her to forward the DCL email response to her/your dining request that she would have IF she had sent them an email requesting it. The email from DCL would basically say that they receieved the request and that it was not a guarantee etc.
If she called it in, there would be no such communication to submit to you though.
