I am a diabetic and need a sharps container. My two DS and I both have asthma so we need a room that has not been smoked in. We had also requested that our 10th anniversary and ds birthday be noted on the ressie. Now I find out that TA did not make the requests. I called Disney and they advised that only my TA can make the change. We have had a ton of problems with her and she is currently outfor the next few days. We leave in a week. I can request these things when we check in, or do they need to be noted on the ressie? :confused3 TIA!

Is there anyone else at the travel agency that you can contact? Your TA must have someone who covers for them when they are out....

Try Sending a fax to the special needs and room assigner a couple days before you leave and follow up when you arrive. In the fax make it known of your concerns.

Yes you can handle those requests at check in. But I would try to get someone at the agency to call WDW with those requests. Especially the non smoking room.

YOu need to get in touch with special services, and do so NOW. They should be able to work with you even though the TA booked the room.

I agree, this is too important to wait until check in. I'd want to handle that personally myself. Disney is great about this stuff! :wizard:
