We will be first time cruisers on the 4 night Wonder next May. We didn't ask for a specific room because we just didn't know enough about it at the time. After reading the boards, I see our rooms are probably not too preferable (why she chose these for us, I have no idea) Anyway, can we request a different room now that she's already chosen for us? (The cabins are 6502 and 6504)

Since you are not in final payment yet, there should be no problem with changing your room. You will need to do that through your TA though, because Disney is not allowed to make changes for you when you have used a TA.

Maybe your TA did not pick those rooms, but was given them by Disney when the reservation was made.
If the TA was not familiar with the Disney ships then the TA would not know the difference between the rooms.

Welcome gizfish and congrats on your very first posting!!

Well, these cabins are in the very front of the ship and we've heard it's better to be in the middle or back because there is less motion and less likely to get seasick. Also, because they are the very last cabins at the end of the hall I've heard people express that it makes for quite a bit of extra walking to get back and forth to the cabin. My DH and I don't mind walking at all but we have two small children. So, I think I'll ask the TA if we can switch to something that may be a bit more preferable in proximity.

Thanks for your help!

We have stayed in the middle 2 different times and had 7005 & 7007 (at the end) on our 7 day last March. We loved having our rooms at the end of the hallway rather than in the middle. We didn't notice near as many kids running near our rooms. When you are in the middle you can hear kids running around all time. We have 6002, 6004, 6003 & 6007 for our upcoming March 2004 cruise. When we had rooms in the middle I could never figure out what was the front our back of the ship our what side my room was on. I tried looking for all the hints but could never get it. But when we had the rooms at the end I never got confused. :D

I also stayed in 7005 before. The forward end of the ship isn't a long hallway from the stair/elevator lobby. There are probably only 10 or so rooms, so it's not a long walk. And the noise is a lot lower. Our 2nd cruise, we had book 7504, and were upgraded (woo hoo!) to 7538 which was in the middle. There was a lot more foot traffic and noise in the middle part of the ship. Your choice, but I wouldn't consider your rooms as not desirable.

Have a great cruise!
