T.T.S's Doctor Who Series 3 Thread! Hope you had Fun! See you next Christmas!

Just checked, and the time of Doctor Who has been put back to 7.40 this week. Mostly because of Match of the Day and all.

Just to let you know. :thumbsup2

Wow, wow, wow, episode 2 was fantastic! Not only did it have Shakespeare but also references to two of my other favourites - Harry Potter and Back to the Future! Expelliarmus - quality :thumbsup2

I have saved the episode in my planner as I realised at the end as I hadn't looked for Mr Saxon references - too caught up in the excitement of it all (yes, open mouthed on the edge of the sofa again). However, I was relying on one of you guys to have spotted a reference for me! I will have to watch it very s-l-o-w-l-y!

Did anyone else think that they used reference to the number 14 as fortean has a paranormal meaning? Maybe I'm reading too much into this.

The thing with the Queen was interesting, looking forward to finding out why the Doctor is her mortal enemy.

On to next week, can someone remind me what message the face of Bo gave the Doctor in the last series? Give me a few days off work and my brain turns to mush.....:lmao:

I couldnt find and reference to Mr Saxon on this one, but I think its more of a trap being laid rather than an overall theme this time and the queen was part of it.

Watched it twice and only could find the lead actor saying My Masters.

The face of Boe will give a secret next week to the Doctor only, most people think it will be, you are not alone, references to a brother or osn of the Doctor, some people say Cpt Jack is the son of the Doc, but most people think the MASTER is behind this and maybe the Doctors brother.

Also been seeing reports that Cybermen are in production again in various shops ?????Same as Black Daleks were in production before last years series end.

We know Daleks are around in 4/5.

The theme should become cleaer by the time Proffesor Lazarus is out, mid season as his paymaster is the link, maybe Mr Saxon.

Remember Saxon was first mentioned at Christmas giving instructions to the army to bomb the Web in the sky.

I missed it this weekend. Does anyone know if it is repeated anytime between now (monday) and next saturday?

I'm thinking we need to think of a Doctor Who Title for Mikki now... :scratchin .. :goodvibes :teeth:

great episode and i liked all the quotes just added in.

Actually the first time Saxon was referenced was in the series 2 episode Love & Monsters. It was on the front page of the Daily Telegraph the Abzorbaloff was reading. (i've been looking on wikipedia to see if anyone had noticed any Mr. Saxon reference during the latest episode) The closest i saw to anything being Mr. Saxon was a word on the script when Shakespeare was writing (and after closer inspection it said something like Semnon)

That would be very cool! :goodvibes Maybe I am a K9 type of person - or maybe sara jane kind of age - lol

I think Marypops/George would be a way cool K9, I mean he seems to be able to find lots of information that we often miss! He is a databank! So why not!! :goodvibes

Had a though and I think that our Florida Sun/Sue should be our Gwen From Torchwood. If you get rid of all the nasty sides to Gwen (e.g. the fact that she cheated on her boyfriend), she's her. Mind you, in Sue's Situation, it couldn't possibly hurt right??? ;) :rotfl: (You do know I'm only just kidding! :flower3: )

Anyway moving on!! :rotfl:

Mikki you can be Susan Foreman, the Youngest Doctor Who Assistant around!!! If you don't know what I am talking about, by all means google it! :goodvibes

You did just check it on Google Right????? :lmao:

Mikki if you a worried about age, you can be Ace (assistant to the 7th Doctor). The actor is about your age, and the character she plays is even younger! :goodvibes

To all My New Assistants, I say:

So wouldn't you like to come with me?
Surfin the sun as it starts to rise?

:thumbsup2

I read about that one. Nice about the Shakespeare one, but they normally speak the reference. :thumbsup2

I would be very happy to be Ace - she was very cool! :cool1: Loved the way she kept blowing everything up!

So you'll be the Special Effects Artist as well! :goodvibes

Can't wait to see what you've done for episode 3. Wait you have done them for Ep three right??? :scared1: ;) :lmao:

Hi

Concerning this Saturdays late start, I did mention that about a week or so back, but a word of warning, in the event of MOTD overruning, Doctor Who is the programme to be dropped, due to the schdule no other programme can be moved around.

Radio times reports this and Freemas website also confirms.

BBC has released press release today on Daleks in new york, but its as reported a while back, pigmen, taking people, Daleks at the top of Empire state, set in depression of 1930's.

But if MOTD overruns, of course New Earth/ gridlock is shown. Lots of guns in this one, and Freema taken from Doctor.

Official DW website hasnt been updated as yet still shows last Saturday, but there is a link to a David T interview of 5 mins for BBC radio Wales, ok with varuios questions, including getting Arthur the horse back to the Tardis.

Bet Sophie DT's girlfreind took that horse from the Paris episode with the Clockwork droids.

Thank you for that Emporer Dalek. :thumbsup2 Did you mention it before? Sorry, I forgot.. I hope that MOTD doesn't overrun!!! :scared1: I would die if DW is delayed for a week!

Have you noticed we have new assistants yet?? :thumbsup2

PS worth looking at Freemas site that has trailers and pictures for Gridlock, and the votesaxon site, for the comments being 'put' on re are you human, and your the master.

Bet he had a life on Mars, before finding out it was all a Dream between life and death, oh thats another story.
