T-Shirt Exchange.

Is there anyone else out there who hasn't their t-shirt yet? Is it just me?

Perhaps we should keep a list that would not be public but that could be shared among the exchange organizers of who signs up for these things but then doesn't live up to their end of the bargain. I understand that there are several who have done this more than once.

I, for one, would be more than happy to maintain such a list.

I didn't get mine either. Guess I'll have to run around naked (or at least t-shirt-less ). I've participated in 2 exchanges this year and didn't get anything in either. I think I'm done. It's a sad world when people's word means squat.

That is a great idea.. Also Kara KW did something awesome when she set up the first YCE...

She had some "rules" on the sign up site.. it was something like don't leave your pal hanging.. remember this is a committment, and other are counting on you, we are trusting you to do you part.. if you agree sign on up!

Sorry you are shirtless. It's difficult enough to set up an exchange (I've only arranged one and that was enough to give me a headache), but it's heartbreaking when you find out that people haven't received their exchanges, especially after you went to all the trouble of matching everyone up.

HarleyChick, I am so sorry that you have participated in 2 exchanges and it hasn't worked out. Doesn't put a good spin on things on this board.

Please, if you're going to participate in an exchange -- PARTICIPATE! Not only does it make your exchangee feel unwanted, but it also makes the person who set the whole thing up feel like a failure.

In agree with Lucy, the people who participate but don't send out shouldn't get to participate in further exchanges.

I haven't sent mine out yet either but its because I can't seem to get one! I have gone twice now to the only place in town where they have Mississippi shirts and they keep telling me they are on back order. I have been tempted to just buy a Dixie Outfitter t-shirt and send it because I simply can't find a Mississippi one....which doesn't surprise me...LOL

I haven't received mine yet either and it seems like my person, who has been in touch with me is having the same problems I am with finding a shirt.

So should we just buy a t-shirt and send it if we can't find our state????

I didn't realise so many peope had not recieved their t-shirts,I am very disappointed in those people who put their name forward but couldn't be bothered sending things out.
TiggerLover I know that your package has been on its way for nearly a fortnight now so it should be with you soon.At least your exchangee had the decency to let you know there was a delay and why.
I agree of infroming others involved in exchanges of those who didn't respond and excluding them from further exchanges.

If I may add my two cents: I really think it would be a great idea if exchangee participants send their packages with some sort of delivery confirmation on it. It's really not that much more expensive and would give the sender a trail if it goes missing within the postal system.

This happened to me during the "part of my world" exchange a while back. My package didn't arrive and according to my buddy she didn't put any sort of confirmation or return receipt on it. Bless her heart she did offer to buy more stuff and send it again, but I told her not to spend the extra money.
