Does T-Rex take walk ups? I just booked Disney 2 weeks ago and now my kids decided they want to eat there. I've tried to make ressies everyday and no luck. I'll wait the 2hours if there is a stand by.

Yes, There is a stanby line, but I would go about 3:00- 4:00 pm between lunch and diner. We went in the spring this year and the wait was at least two hours and that was at 5:00 pm. We had ressies so it worked out good for us. The place is worth it and the food was yummy....... The kids will love it, ask for the ice berge room..... can't explain why but you will love it.... good-luck.:thumbsup2

Have you actually called the restaurant itself to see about reservations? I tried booking online for July and there were, according to the WDW dining system, no tables available. I called the restaurant and had no problem booking a dinner at the time I wanted. Just a suggestion.

I agree with PP, call them direct !

I went through the same thing. It was an important ADR for us and for weeks I couldn't get anything but an early lunch which was not good for our schedule. So I called direct and I could get any time on any day I wanted. They must only release a limited number of seatings to Disney Dining.

Call them directly. I'm going in about 2 weeks, and got reservations for dinner (for 3) on the 20th. (407-828-TREX) Good luck!

Called directly and had no problems for the end of September. Definitely call them

Thanks all for the replies. I will call then direct now and see what happens.

We are going our first night in town and my kids are SO EXCITED!!!

TMcDwyer-When is your first night? Ours is Saturday and we figured we will do some swimming and hang around Downtown Disney so the T-Rex was a bonus for me. I hope you enjoy. :thumbsup2

We just went to TRex for lunch last week. Kids really enjoyed the place, food was good as was the service. Gift shop also has a Build-A-Dino that kids love. Cool spot, we look forward to returning next year.

Are the prices the same for lunch and dinner?

Where's the best place to sit? I heard the ice cave may not be the best location.

Almost certain that the menu was the same for lunch & dinner. We sat in the Ice Cave, which was fine. The walls change colors, you still can see part of the meteor shower. Knowing now how it is, however, I'd probably request a table outside the Cave.

We don't head down until 11/29...I wish it was in 2 days!!! Have a great time!
