T Rex Reservations?

We decided today to drive down a day early for our trip and stay in a Downtown Disney Hotel for one night before we check into AKL. We are just going to spend the day at Downtown Disney and were hoping to go to the T Rex restaurant. I checked today online and there are no reservations for the day we need. I also called to check just to be sure and still no reservations. Has anyone had any luck with walk up reservations the day of? Keeping my fingers crossed the kids will love it.

We have gone to TREX. We did a walk up. There is usually availability but it is usually about a 30 min or so wait. Depending on your party size. Good luck.

Did you call T-rex Directly? I have seen a few reports of people getting reservations by calling the restaurant directly. the number listed is 407-828-8739

I had no trouble getting a ressie when calling them directly, even when it wasn't available through Disney ADRs.

When we went earlier this year, I called the restaurant directly. I had no problem getting reservations just a few days before our trip. I was very pleased when I found they took the safari club card from Rainforest Cafes.

We called directly and got ressies with no prob. we loved it and wanted the dessert, but were just stuffed.....went back later that day and were seated immediately...try going during a time that is not quite so close to your typical lunch or dinner hours....we walked in at 4 that afternoon, but when we left about an hour later, it was packed and people were waiting outside....

I agree call the restaurant directly it should work

Call T-Rex directly. They are not a Disney restaurant and they release only a small fraction of their tables for booking through Disney.

I did this just yesterday. I'd been checking the online system every once in a while and there never was any availability. I called T-Rex directly and had my pick of times the night we wanted to go. Good luck!

Thank You Thank You Thank You!! I just called T Rex directly and was able to get a reservation for 6 on Saturday with no problem at all. I really appreciate everyones advice to call them directly. The kids are going to be so surprised!!!! This is going to be the perfect start to our vacation.

for posting this. We were never able to book online and was able to phone directly and get a table no problemo. A little 6 year old boy will be very happy. We are going on our last night at Disney and will be happy to pay OOP for such a neat meal experience!
