We’re trying Vero Beach two nights in July before a cruise! This past year I figured we’d try all the hotels we could and figure out how we like to vacation.

Are you going during turtle season? (Is that what they call it?)

I hope so. We are there early August which I have heard is during that time. I imagine it’s up to chance as to whether they are active those specific nights?

I am fairly certain the closest publicized Tour de Turtles event that happens near there is the one that's listed as being at the Archie Carr Refuge on August 2, 2026. They do a number of turtle launches throughout the summer, but it is tough to find out information about the one at DVC Vero Beach, as they purposely do not advertise it too much.

Do you ever plan on doing a Christmas time stay? I'd love to have your thoughts on if the vibe changes with all the extra visitors!

I’d love to see World Showcase during Christmas…. but I don’t see the logistics happening while I am still working and the kids are in school.

We are more likely to do Aulani for Christmas.

We finally got to try this place out last fall and it was a hit with both kids and adults! It's definitely going into the rotation for future trips.
