T-Rex reservations for dessert?

We don't have enough table service credits to eat dinner at T-Rex but I thought it might be fun to take the family there for the atmosphere and just pay for a Chocolate Extinction out-of-pocket.

Would we need to make a reservation if we're just getting dessert? And would there much of a wait for a table in mid-January?

You can call T-Rex directly to make a ressie. I don't have the number but you can go to their direct website to get it. They don't list all of their available times on the Disney reservation website and this close to your travel dates that would probably be the best way for you to get a reservation. We called them last April for our May trip and had no problems getting one. Also when you call ask them if it would be alright to just order dessert. I doubt it would a problem!
