So i had to call for a reservation at TREX for our trip. weirdly not available over the disney reservation. Is there a way to link it to my account?

Not sure you'll be able to. Many of the restaurants at Disney Springs have there own reservation systems outside of MDE, like Paddlefish and Planet Hollywood both use OpenTable. I don't believe those types of reservations can be linked to MDE.

It's not necessary unless you just want it as an entry into a list of items for the day.

you can't add it as they dont have the reservation numbers to give you that link to MDE. However you can add it as a "note" to your itinerary page.

Not weird, standard for most the DS third party restaurants. They only give Disney so many and the rest they hold back. Always been better to reserve on your own direct.

No. You can cancel right up to the time of your reservation without a penalty if you make it directly with the restaurant. Pretty sure even a no show isn't penalized although I don't suggest people do it.

There's no way to link it, but you can add it to your notes for that day if you want to see it there.

as noted by other make a note on your account. know you did not ask but you can still use the dining plans to pay even if you call direct.
