T-Rex Question

I have heard there is a BuildADino, like BuildABear, in the T-Rex restaurant in DTD...can you go in there and make one if you're not eating at the restaurant?
My son LOVES dinosaurs, but i think he would be scared of the restaurant b/c he is petrified of thunderstorms and i think the meteor shower would freak him out...i think he would love to make a dino, though
what do the dinies look like after you make them? anyone have a pic? i.e. - do you get to put clothes on them, etc., like the bears?

I don't have all the answers for you but I am sure someone with younger kids will! But you can go and build your dino without eating. It is at the back of the gift shop. BTW you can go and look around and see what the meteor showers ect look and sound like. Maybe in a couple years your DS will enjoy the restaurant!

Yes you can. There is a store off to the side and the Build A Dino is at the back of the store. My dd did it last year and loved it.

Best time in the world-so much fun! Yes you can get clothes ($5-18) and the dinos ($15-25) plus voice ($5-6) so if you go plan $35-50 and 45minutes+ My daughter loves dinos ever since she was 2 and when she was 11 she got her first one we know have 3 a T-rex, a triceretops and a pink t-rex'ish looking one. Try going to the website for t-rex or ggogle images and i bet you will come up with pix. Also, yes it is loud in there but soooooo cool. Life size dinos you just have to experience it - also try to google opening day for t-rex it gived you a good idea of how it is. Have a wonderful time!

I think we are going to go in the shop area and build a dino b/c they open at 9:30 am, thenwe will have to go since we need to leave by noon and the earliest dining they have is 11:00 w/no availability...at least he will be able to see the dinies a little bit and make one! thanks again!

Re the availability - did you call the rest. direct or just look online at the dining reservations? Call them direct and see if there is anyting earlier! Have a wonderful trip no matter what you decide!

wow! thanks so much - never thought to call the rest. directly! they gave us a reservation for 11 am, so we'll go earlier and see how the little guy reacts to the dinies and if he wants to eat there. if not, we'll just make a dinie! thanks!
