I too had a bad experience with T Rex. It came later though, when they refused to make it right. Everything was fine with our service and the meal. We were a party of 7 (with 5 adults), so the check came to $160.00ish. T Rex is supposed to give a DVC discount ($16.00). What happened is our waitress forgot to apply our discount. She gave my husband the check, and I actually didn't see the check until after we left. When I noticed the problem, the restaurant was closed. We ate late. So I figured I'd go back, ask for the manager, and they'd surely make it right. WRONG!! She said she was very sorry but there was nothing she could do. Once the charges for the night are processed they can't fix any mistakes. Yeah... how convenient for them. They make a $16.00 mistake in their favor and conveniently they have such an antiquated accounting system that they can't make it right. They couldn't offer me a coupon for $16.00 worth of desserts?? Nothing!! They over charge me.. and they can't do anything about it. I told her I'd never eat there again. I truly have never heard of such a thing. She didn't at all care if I never ate there again or if I gave them a bad review because of it. My next step is to write to the corporate president. If he can't fix it, then I definitely will tell everyone.

I've worked in a lot of restaurants, and I've had similar problems- I've had to give money back to my employers because I didn't enter the tip into the computer and once the charges go through for the night, they're the credit card company's and there's no way to adjust them.
That being said, it's a terrible display of customer service to not offer some sort of reimbursement.
