I just want to confirm that we are now closing the group. I am making some homemade items and need a final count. last I checked we had 15 families/cabins and 30 kids? is this correct? and I believe out of the children 16 were girls?

can anyone confirm? thank you!! We are looking forward to it! We are flying in from Pennsylvania Friday evening and spending the night at the Animal Kingdom villas. Our plan is for a leisurely morning (breakfast at Boma--my favorite!!) before heading down to the ship for an early afternoon embarkation. Should we plan a little meet and greet for the families that evening? or the first day at sea? maybe for lunch?

You should have the link to check the count. It is updated as soon as someone joins. Chuck is correct, we all agreed to closing it on the 30th of October. Most of us that are making personalized things, just make a few extras. Everyone realizes that when they join late, they may not get the exact gift everyone else is, but something comparable.

Hey everyone. We are staying for 2 nights post-cruise at the Yacht Club. Doing a little research on crowd levels last night (eeek) and came upon the link to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party. So excited that we are going to be there for it again. We went a few years ago and had so much fun that we went a second time (we were there for a week in early December). So if any of you are staying after the sailing, just know that the party is big fun and is taking place Sunday night. Cheers!

Well, no upgrade pixie dust for us--we booked a cat 11A GTY- and according to our online reservation-just updated- we received a cat 11A cabin --6045. At least we are on the ship!!

I had also hoped for some upgrade pixie dust, but with no luck. Maybe if that Florida resident discount comes through that your husband keeps talking about we can use that extra money to pay for an upgrade.

Ditto here. Paid for a 9A. Got a 9A. My first time doing the GTY thing but I booked based on what I'd be happy with - so it's all good.

Just got our room assignment, no pixie dust for us either. We booked 11C and received 11C. What's funny is we have the SAME exact room that we had on the Magic in June I'm not sure if that's common. Oh well, at least I know what to expect

Okay... no pixie dust here.... booked 11C and got 11C... oh well...I am sure we are going to have a great time irregardless of our cabin. Just happy to know that we have a home .

It's getting closer... WAHOO!!!!! Can't wait to feel the sand between the toes and taste the konk cooler!

Apple picking went great! Picked 30 pounds and have made plenty of pies. Time to go back for more. I like to make them and freeze them. Same with apple cake. Delicious!

yes we have, but it is very risky b/c more often than not, it won't happen on a busy week like Thanksgiving.

We will be joining you all on this Cruise. Thanks Chuck and Lisa for helping us decide. We were torn between three dates, this Halloween, and Christmas.

We have done Halloween which is tons of fun and Lisa reminded me that this is really a tradition. We have done it for I think this is the 6 year. So we decided to book Thanksgiving. Plus no pulling our daughter out of school and only two days off of work for me.

My husband John
and Jessica (7) who has been bugging us to book her a cruise for three weeks....she will be happy when she gets home from school.

We would love to join the FE exchange if possible. We should be on deck 5 and we have a tentative room number. It will be finalized next week (I think)

So excited to sail with the Turkey Gang again.

Welcome aboard! Glad to see my kids aren't the only cruise addicts in the making. We did the Turkey cruise in '08 and are really looking forward to it again. Though I'm torn about booking Thanksgiving next year or New Year's Eve.
