Sword and the stone....

I think my DD got a little bit of magic when we were at MK in April. We were standing in front of Cindy's carosel (sorry, I'm a horrible speller) where the sword and the stone is. DD went up to it and tried to pull it. There was a CM standing near by and coaxed DD to try to pull it up when it wouldn't come up. She ended up pulling it up and got a certificate for Princess for the Day!

That is so cool...what a special memory for her.

What did Princess of the day entail. Did she get anything special besides the certificate?

All the poor princess got was the certificate, but that totally made her day anyway! Funny how the little stuff makes their day! I was tickled too!

I've never seen the sword removed! Could anyone have pulled it out that day? Did the CM make some adjustment just for your daughter?

WOW! That would have been so exciting for my DS7! He must have pulled on that thing for 10 minutes thinking it would eventually come out!

As far as I know, several times a day, a CM would stand over near it. There was a little boy stading there trying to pull it up and it woudln't move. His mom said...that's enough..come on...we're going to go ride so and so....DD steped up there and pulled it out.....My DH said...Dang...I bet that just ticked off that little boy that tried to pull it out....The CM said....Yeah...it's fun! It makes alot of kids mad!!! And she just laughed. LOL

My daughter got to do this in January. It was pretty cool to see her do it, and right after her brother tried and it was a no go! Funny just within our family! DH thinks CM had a remote in her pocket to make it work

Yeah, I don't think the CM came right out and said she had a remote, but we're pretty sure she did. Especially since she said she liked messing with the kids. She and DH talked the whole time DD and I were walking around looking for our next adventure! I think the DH likes the World more because of the surprises and behind the scenes stuff!
