Switching Weeks.

Hi all, not sure if this is where to put this but we will see. I have a week booked for early May. I have the kids stay and play discount right now. May need so switch the week to later in the month. That discount is no longer available and was curious if anyone knew if I called to switch weeks would they let me keep the discount or because it’s no longer available am I out of luck. Figured I would see if anyone has dealt with this before I sit on hold with Disney and ask. Thanks in advance.

Is it no longer available because it is outside the promotion dates or because no rooms available? If it's outside the dates, then no. If because of no rooms, it's not likely unless you are willing to move to where ever they do have rooms. Only way to really know is to call, none of us really know what Disney may do. I'd be on the phone ASAP.

You will need to call and ask to speak with a CM in Guest Services to see if they can find availability for you. I would be prepared to be flexible with resort/room category if they can make the modification. You may also want to price out the new week with the promotions that are still available to see if they offer you a similar cost savings.

You can check prices and availability yourself, then call to see what Guest Services can to do help with regards to whether your reservation can be modified and keep the old promotion.

Keep in mind that prices will increase a little bit each week as you go later into May. Ticket prices definitely and possibly the resort rates. So you probably will have a more expensive vacation even if you are able to keep the old promotion.
