Switching Resorts during stay question...

Thinking of going down the first week of December and staying at the GF for 4 nights and then switching to the BWI for 4 nights. We will not have a car. How do they handle this? Do you have to get your own transfers and move your own luggage? Check in and out?

This is very easy. On our last trip, we were at the Polynesian for 5 days and then switched to AKL. On the morning of our switch, we called Bell Services at the Polynesian. They came to the room and picked up our bags. We checked out and went to Epcot for the morning. We then went over to AKL in the afternoon. We checked in, got to the room, called Bell Services at AKL and they brought up our bags up to the room. They usually tell you that your bags will be at your new resort by 4:00. Very simple!
