switching names on the reservation?

We have a Chef Mickey's reservation that we are not going to be able to use, but we have some friends who can use it. What is the best way to go about getting the reservation switched over to them? Or do we need to even worry about changing the name on the reservation and just let them show up and say that they are the "Whatley" party? Thanks!!

Try to cancel and give them an hour (3:25pm for exemple) to coordinate and They Will Try to grab it. If They are lucky they Will have the reservation.

The most hassle free way of doing this is to just let them show up and give the name the reservation is under.

Just make sure you really trust them to show up, otherwise you are on the hook for the no show fee.
