Switching monorails at ttc?

HELP!CURRENTLY, WE ARE PLANNING A TRIP TO WDW IN NOVEMBER AND WE ARE STAYING AT THE POLY. I AM CONFUSED ABOUT THE MONORAIL SYSTEM. TO MY UNDERSTANDING THERE IS A MONORAIL THAT RUNS BETWEEN RESORTS (TTC, POLY, GF, AND CR), A MONORAIL (EXPRESS) THAT RUNS BETWEEN TTC AND MK, AND A MONORAIL THAT RUNS BETWEEN TTC AND EPCOT. IF I WANT TO GET TO MK FROM THE POLY VIA THE MONORAIL STATION AT THE GCH, WOULD I HAVE TO STAY ON THE MONORAIL UNTIL IT STOPS AT THE TTC AND SWITCH TO THE MONORAIL THAT RUNS DIRECTLY FROM TTC TO MK OR DOES THE RESORT MONORAIL THAT STOPS AT THE RESORTS ALSO STOP AT MK? IF I HAVE TO SWITCH MONORAILS, THEN I GUESS TAKING A BOAT TO MK FROM POLY OR WALKING/DRIVING FROM THE POLY TO THE TTC AND TAKING THE EXPRESS MONORAIL TO MK WOULD BE MORE TIMELY ALTERNATIVES. . THANKS.

Take the monorail from the Poly ceremonial house to MK. It will make a short stop at the GF and then on to MK. If heading to Epcot, take the walkway to the transportation center and take the monorail directly to Epcot.

The resort monorail stops at the MK as well. When you get on at the GCH at Poly, you'll proceed to the GF and pick up/drop off guests there. Then you'll head to MK. You'll stop there and unload. When you want to return to the Poly, you'll board the monorail at MK, you'll go to CR first, then to TTC, and then to Poly. I hope that helps!!

Both the resort and express monorail encircle Seven Seas Lagoon. The inner track is the resort monorail. It circles clockwise around the lagoon. It stops at Poly, GF, MK, CR, and TTC, returning to Poly. The outer loop is the express monorail. The express circles counter clockwise. It stops at TTC and MK only.

Both monorails stop at TTC and MK. Although switching between monorails is possible, it's not totally necessary. The only times I would take the other monorail is in cases of severe weather (just to get inside) or at park close. Then, I would take which ever has the shortest wait.
