Switching MagicBands for FP+ purposes

Hi,

We will be traveling as a party of 3 adults and one child in a couple of weeks and we selected all of our FP+ Rides for all 4 of us. The problem is my son doesn't like very dark rides with things that "pop out" or get loud. Something like Dinosaur he has no interest in.

My question is can 2 of us go on at the beginning of the window while one stays back to watch him, then the one stayed behind can go with one of that just got off using my son's band? We would be using all 4 of our FP+ just not over the full 4 party. Does sound feasible?

Yes, we did that for Space Mountain. All 6 of us had the Fast Pass+, but my 4 year old isn't tall enough to ride. So I took my 3 oldest on the ride first and DH stayed behind with our 4 year old. Then when we got off I just gave my 4 year olds band to my daughter and she got to ride twice so DH wouldn't have to go by himself. Just make sure you go right at the beginning of your time slot so you have time for the swap.

Just so you know, your name shows on the screen when you use your band. So you might get a funny look if Ann is using James' band.
