So I'm trying to get my In-Laws (family of 6) to come on our vacation with us. We are planning on staying onsite and am trying to get them to book the same resort.
But they might want us all to rent a house instead. My concern is waiting until 30 days out for FP+.

Should I be concerned with this? We'd only be in the parks from rope drop to around 1pm.

Specifically, would I be able to get FP+ for rides like TSMM, BTMRR, 7DMT, TT, Soarin at 30 days out for our time of day - rope drop to around 1pm? We plan on going in October.

October of next year?? :confused3:confused3

I honestly think its too early to know for sure... the FP+ thing is extremely new and I don't think we will really know for sure whats going to happen until after it all settles and they stop changing things... I'm not even 100% set on our September plans because they keep changing the FP rules.

I would say, do whats best for your family and don't worry about FP+. People have reported that they were able to get FP at 30days out for popular rides. Its really to hard (in my opinion) to gauge how October of 2015 will work out this early in the game.

Don't worry about FP+?! Oh you silly silly you :rotfl: I'm a planner/worrier by nature! We're only going to be in the parks from rope drop to about 1pm so I'd like to minimize waiting. I realize that stand by times could only be 20-30 min but times that by 3 FP+ and we'd be able to squeeze in a few more rides.

I'd just like to know if the rides I've listed are currently available 30 days out during the times I need. (I also plan on asking again in Sept to get an idea of that time period also)

The popular rides they were able to get at 30 days out, what kinds of times were those; times that would work for us? This makes a difference between staying on property or off.

My 60 day window opens in 10 days but I've had several friends that have gone several times in the past few months. They've had no problems booking anything they wanted at about 25 days (including A&E, not sure if that was a fluke or what but it was for 2 adults, evening time - twice). As they keep tweaking FP+ rules anything can change but based on experiences, I wouldn't worry about it at this time.

I didn't mean to not worry about it at all... I am saying that over a year till your trip how can anyone have any semblance of a clue as to how its going to work out. You may end up planning something now and have Disney change the FP+ rules again and it be completely different. I mean, they just added the 4th+ and are now adding the mobile application... its changing rapidly at this point because it is so new.

I think you should deff keep up with the system and the reports and the changes, but I wouldn't necessarily start stressing about which ones to pick and if you need 30 or 60 days etc... at least not yet.
