Right now I have a cash reservation within 60 days, along with some ADRs which I booked at the 60 day window. I also have separate park tickets dated for the time of the hotel reservation (i.e., not part of a package). I just secured a DVC/points reservation at a different location. I want to cancel the cash reservation and keep the DVC reservation without messing up the ADRs or my ability to use MDE to book LLs at the 7 day mark (which is still a few weeks away).
Is there magic to this? Should I add the new/DVC reservation to MDE, then cancel the old/cash reservation so there's no time where I have no reservation? Or will the duplicates screw things up? Cancel the old/cash reservation first then add the new/DVC one? Will that mess up the ADRs?
My guess is this probably doesn't matter and will work out any way, but it'd be helpful to know if anyone has done this before and if there's any tricks or traps I need to stay away from here.
